Walt Disney World's EPCOT World Showcase Country Pavilion Series video 3: Japan pavilion, 2021. In this series, I explore each of EPCOT's 11 world showcase country pavilions in depth, sharing interesting facts, history, hidden and lesser known details, and everything you need to know to make the most of your visit to EPCOT at Walt Disney World! In today's video, we explore the Japan pavilion, it's theming, architecture, shopping at Mitsukoshi, one of the oldest surviving department store chains in the world, all of Japan's dining options from sit-down to quick service to festival food, Bijutsu-kan featuring the Kawaii exhibit, pavilion layout, and every beautiful area, from hidden pathways and bridges, to beautiful Japanese gardens and waterways, to popular restaurants, quick service dining and everything in between! I also share some emotional footage of the Matsuriza Taiko drummers from their last ever performance at Walt Disney World over a year ago. I’ve never before released this footage until now. This video is meant to be a fun, thorough romp through one of the most beautiful and detailed pavilions at EPCOT, to show you everything you can do there! Since Flower & Gardens Festival 2021 is going on, I also include the beautiful dragon topiary and show you the festival kitchen dining options! Have you visited the Japan pavilion? What's your favorite part? Thanks for watching! Arigato!

Fun video! Just an FYI...that T-shirt you were trying to translate says いただきます (Itadakimasu). It is a short phrase that all Japanese say just before they are ready to start eating. The literal meaning is “I will have it” or “ I will eat”.

Jackie, our family has decided that you are the embodiment of Florida itself: sunny, fun and always great to see! 🙂 btw, I enjoyed seeing you cover etiquette while eating. Manners are EVERYTHING in Japan. I was stationed there in the Marine Corps and made every effort to be respectful and learn their beautiful culture and language. Nice video!

Thank you, what a lovely comment!!! I always try so hard to be respectful and I’ve watched a bunch of Japanese etiquette videos in preparation of a trip there, but I’m sure I won’t be perfect even tho I’ll try!! What an amazing experience you must have had being stationed there!

@@SuperEnthused it was an honor! Even though I am sure I butchered their lovely language, I believe they truly appreciated the effort and sincerity. Your enthusiasm (super enthusiasm!) and genuine respect will open many doors for you when you do get to go. You will ADORE Tokyo! Anyways, we genuinely adore you and your channel. Hope we are fortunate enough to run into you in the parks someday. The Asahi and purple syrupy saki is on us! Cheers!

What did I like best? All of it!! My favorite pavilion! The gardens, the store, the museum (Jackie in an exhibit of cute, how appropriate). I could spend the whole day in the store. Last time I was there I spent 10 or 15 minutes watching a lovely Japanese woman with a little tiny scissors trim Bansi trees. Could have watched her for an hour. I will so miss the drummers. What a show. So physical. Those ladies had some guns. Sayonara Jackie-san.

Usually on a 7 day trip, with so much to do, we have to skip through these parts of the countries, so we really enjoy this series you are doing! We like all the back stories you are sharing, never knew about the attractions, wished more countries would have rides! My daughter has major food allergies and Teppan Edo was amazing with them! So much so that on our next trip, she asked to eat there again instead of trying a new country, she felt safe there! The gift shop brings back happy memories of my little boy so happy picking out all the plushies and that IS the best gift shop out of all the countries! Love all your videos! Your ending montages are great. You have a calm voice without too many “likes” lol and not too dizzy camera work like others. We only ever watched Tim Tracker because his camera work and voice was less chaotic then many Disney Vloggers. He recommended Adam the Woo which we don’t care for, but through him, we found Mr Morrow which we love! And that’s how we found you! :). (Not being mean but the WDWcouple channel is super annoying, she bobbs her head around too much like a news caster and I noticed you started doing that recently, you don’t need to do that, we like you as you are!) Thanks for giving us our Disney fix since we can’t be there!!! Subscribed! :)
