Paco doesn´t have to prove nothing to NO ONE!! Is the greatest flamenco player alive and maybe the best the world will ever see. I have saw him play live on the first row of the OPORTO Coliseum Concert Hall in Portugal...is a monster...an amazing musician that trully carrys the flamenco tradition up on his shoulders...

For all the comments about inaccurate playing... a good friend of mine is Paco's nephew. I can tell you Paco was definitely far from sober this day. So it's surprising he didn't drop the guitar, let alone play it. :-) Even guitar Gods like to let loose sometimes.

Funny, all the complaints about imprecise playing. Any new guitar that you pick up feels different, so even if you're a genius, it's tricky to play for a few minutes. I enjoyed hearing this! I also enjoyed Paco's colleague busting out that nice solea material.

That's a very classic sounding guitar. It reminds me of some of the recordings of Cepero's guitar accompanying El Lebrijano.

In fact Paco said the guitar was incredible from the moment he played the first notes, one of the most old sounding modern flamenco guitars with tone that reminds him of much older instrument...then he ordered one from Erez if i'm not mistaken

Nice guitar ok but Paco never played one did he? He was most comfortable with his Conde Negra and occasionally a Lester Devoe depending on what he was performing. Some guitars are just familiar and comfortable and that’s the one you will perform on regardless of the tone.

every flamenco guitar make has different characteristics. Brighter sounds, or deep sound, or short or longer sustains. The modern ones certainly sound different to the 60s or 70s make.

Just goes to show that even the best player in the world, when handed a guitar that isn't perfect- or when his nails have a tiny imperfection- can sound half as good. An incredibly picky instrument- piano players don't have to put up with this kind of nonsense. Its the life we chose, though.
