EO is a group B non gazetted post.However, APFC is a group A post. Now coming to your question, gazetted post is that in which employees get their salary from the consolidated fund of India. EPFO is under CBT and they are getting their salary from the Board. The APFC gets salary from consolidated fund of India….therefore its a gazzated post.
