How do you add reverb though? The manual says it has the function but no instructions on how to add effect or switch between the 4 types?
@ePianoscouk20 күн бұрын
Hi @teocastelvecchi, To add or change the reverb settings on the Yamaha P-225: Activate Reverb Settings: Hold down the [METRONOME] and [RHYTHM] buttons simultaneously. Select a Reverb Type: While holding the buttons, press one of the keys designated for reverb types on the keyboard. The specific keys correspond to the four reverb types: C1: Recital Hall C#1: Concert Hall D1: Chamber D#1: Club Adjust Reverb Depth: While still holding the buttons, use the [+]/[-] buttons to increase or decrease the reverb depth. Let me know if you have more questions! 🎹😊

@@ePianoscouk My manual says "piano" button + various keys for type and depth. For anyone reading this, download the manual and check it out. It's in the section "Voice Settings"

Mine doesn't do anything other than play through the speakers when I plug in headphones or an external speaker. I'd like to play with headphones as to not bother my neighbors, but it still plays through the speakers. Any advice?

Hi @OwlTL, If your Yamaha P-225 is still playing through the speakers when you plug in headphones, it could be due to the Speaker Output Setting. By default, the internal speakers should mute when headphones are connected, but if this isn't happening, try the following: 1️⃣ Check the Speaker Output Setting: The P-225 has a Speaker On/Off/Auto setting, which can be adjusted in the Reference Manual (available on Yamaha’s website). If it's set to On, the speakers will remain active even with headphones connected. Changing it to Auto should fix the issue. 2️⃣ Ensure Proper Headphone Connection: Make sure your headphones are fully inserted into the [PHONES] jack. If you're using an adapter (e.g., 3.5mm to 6.35mm), check that it's working properly. 3️⃣ Try a Different Pair of Headphones: Test another set of headphones to rule out any issues with the plug or adapter. If none of the above work, a faulty headphone jack may be the culprit, and it might be worth contacting Yamaha support. Hope this helps! Let me know how you get on. 😊🎹 Best wishes, The ePianos Team ✨
