In this EPIC 11,000 man Siege of Nuln, The Empire and the Dwarfs defend the capital city of Wissenland against Skarbrand the Exiled One and a veritable Vermintide of Skaven. The armies of Khorne the Blood God and Grey Seer Thanqueezius (Thanquol's 2nd cousin twice removed) overwhelm the walls and take the fight deep into the heart of Nuln in this amazing custom siege map and massive 2v2 siege battle by Frodo!

Bloodletter, difference is size. The difference being you can pull out your nuln training to 360 no scope the bloodletter after it slams into the ground.

I wish CA did what Relic did by the end of CoH2's cycle. That is reviewing popular maps made by the community, do quality passes, veto it and then make it available to the base game, that would make this game more refreshing than ever. I can imagine overhaul's to each settlement at the cost of disk space I guess 🤣

Even still, since they already have a system, they could easily implement it as an extra you can turn on or off, would be good to also allow that to be done for every campaign in the game, as is the base game and some of those maps as well tutorial maps you are not going to play again would be nice to save that file space

@Malignard well the big struggle with that is that GW is involved with the game series as well, and GW would have to OK the mods being put into the game properly, and GW doesn't like not being a peice of shit company, particularly when it doesn't give them more money directly, so it is definitely a pipe dream, but it would be good

This was such a great battle to watch. Your commentary, Indy, was perfect, and the map was awesome! The players did a great job too. It was so thematic and just all around enjoyable. I wish CA would take some notes on how Frodo developed this map and the improvements he's made in this for their own sieges.

When watching these epic battles on these custom siege maps I sometimes wonder if CA couldn't just contact these map makers and hire them to make more cool siege maps to then simply add them to the base game. I reckon that would be really cool and while not every single city or fortification would have a custom made siege map, the important ones would and I'm willing to bet that most fans of the series would be excited beyond measure for such a feature. It would also solve some of the issues people have with sieges (mainly that they are not varied enough) but that's just my two cents on the matter.

@@alcoolamus4208 well - most of the symbols i have done so far have been for Dukes new units there is a whole bunch of them that is technically ready taht changes the icons for all gobbo melee units, hippogryphs, some tzeentch stuff etc. but i have no idea of modding, and no other people have approached me with requests so far :D

Finally a siege battle! I still don't understand why you haven't done siege battles before. Sure the AI is not good at handling them, but that doesn't matter in pvp. If the problem is winning without taking the final capture point there is a mod that fixes that. It is also possible to mod the final capture point to give huge moral buffs

That comet at the start, the one that blew up a ton of clan rats and skaven slaves, lost the match for the empire I think It was pretty clear that the grenades and irondrakes would have eventually killed all those chaff units anyway, and without as much friendly fire damage, plus it would have given the celestial wizard enough winds for one last comet at the very end which would have won them the match
