Yes Taryl, my '73 Vega GT hit 95MPH MANY, MANY times. Basic Vega 140 C.I. It had keyed steel sleeves put in, water jackets opened up between the cylinders and the stock 2 barrel Holley carbertraitor, and the Saginaw 4 speed manual, posi-rear. For a Vega, this thing did very well. It ran for 12 years on the engine rebuild too. GREAT IDEA TARYL, DRIVESHAFT STRAP!!!!! THANKS FOR TAKING US ALONG FOR THE RIDE TOO!!! YOUR PALOMINO ROCKS!!!!

June of 2019 was when I was at your shop. I remember looking at the palomino in the shop and you explaining the things you were working on at the time. It's cool seeing it in the video, but it's even cooler seeing it in person. Thanks for all that you do.

Looks great, as a suggestion I would move the cooling fan to the side grill to pull in cool air from outside the engine compartment and blow air across the engine the same direction as would flow when originally mounted in the ATV

Nothin like good friends and good fun. That fight was epic. I have the front engine mount for a toyota avalon. It's like a small shock absorber. Customer totaled the car before I could install it. Message me if you want it.

That's the Ackerman's angle for the steering angles, the castor angle is the angle of the hub pivot and provides a self-centering action :) a quick fix idea for the suspension too, let some air out of the tyres, not too much though haha. Awesome works as always

you might be able to adapt a golf-kart suspension to it on the rear, not sure how to make a front suspension work without building a different axle for it, gotta love the work and time put into this cool tractor thats just getting cooler the more mods you throw at it, glad to see this still kicking around and you still wrenching on it man, take er' easy and stay safe

The old Ford truck I used to have had a big springy bench seat with lots of padding. That was part of the suspension I think.

I've found bronze bushings at Tractor supply, for your pitman arm you could use two and insert one from the other side. If they're to long you can grind or cut them to fit

Taryl, dont forget that after doing your front end there still might be some differences in the alignment. That will contribute to the drag factor and as such - your speed factor.

Add a second bearing on each side of the rear axle and box it in and then use that to mount shocks and springs just like a real axle. Maybe a set of leaf springs off a trailer or make a 4 link with a panhead bar with coil springs.

Semi's and tractors run air bag seats with a scissor system Fishing boat seats have an air system too. You'd have to go low profile though..

Couldn’t follow your steering description well. Are you sure it changed the caster? I would think it would have been the camber. Caster is built into the tube yokes on the beam axle.
