I have been planning on putting a hitch tube on the front of an old snowblower to move my trailer and use my snow plow that I have set up with a hitch tube on the tractor so I can pull the pin and put the plow or trailer ball. I came in to grab a bowl gasket and a primer bulb and here I am watching Taryl instead of working... Worth it ;-)

I'm building a similar apparatus for a friend. Mounting it on his John Deere garden tractor for moving trailers around his yard and junk. But I'm using an electric actuator. No hydraulic leaks and plenty of power to lift anything he has. Makes me kinda miss my 93 Super Duty that started life as an ambulance. Just dump the air back under my trailers flip the switch let the airbags fill back up. Flip up the screw jack drop the pin and roll. Love your videos bro funny and educational! GOD bless you and cover you with his eternal love 💘

Love your videos. You helped me acquire a Honda Goldwing. I'll tell you the story if I ever meet you. Instead of RV antifreeze, I use the subzero type wiper fluid in the rear lug tires of my Cub Cadet 2186. The wiper fluid is non corrosive. I use it for a rear mount tiller in the summer and snowplow or blower in winter. No chains and no weights to mess with.

Thanks for the vid and inspiring. Did a push-tow for my cars years ago to push it in to the garage. Put a car-tire on it worked fine, specially on the winter-time and some uphill. @22:07 1000% Agree. I was helping a friend with his riding mower that wouldn't start. He had 2 people look at it and they said that he needed a new starter. I took Mr. Test Light and he found the problem; the solenoid wasn't getting juice when key was turned. I noticed that the positive battery terminal had a little corrosion. Sanded both battery terminals and the wire terminal (going to the solenoid) and the mower fired right up.

I've welded quite a few plastic tanks with a soldering iron...I preheat the cracked area with a heat gun, then slightly trench the crack at 60watts pointed tip iron, then go over it @ 100watts with a flat tip, working in a circular motion, then do a final pass, using a nylon zip-tie with the iron still set @ 100watts with a pointed tip again,in the same fashion as TIG or Brazing,So there's no need for epoxy...takes a little time and a ton of patience, but its a hell of a lot better, than replacing a $200+ tank.....I like the wire nut hack too...gonna have to try that out

Your right Taryl those bushing's work well , i recently fitted one on a fuel tank from a Koholer magnum 8 engine. trouble was i had to use one from a wacker plant as the alternative was to order from your side of the pond and pay over $30, the one i bought was £1.90 inluding postage.

Taryl Fixes All. The push/tow vehicle that you are repurposing looks very useful. I have some 3 wheeled Yazoo YR-48s and YR-60s around but I’m not sure how the Rockford transmissions would be strong enough like the Scag you have. I was pleased to see that the engine was basically the same as the KT-17 Series 2 that is on my 682 Hydro Cub Cadet. And Yes, The fuel tank on my Cub Cadet has the same tank bushing as yours. The bushing and valve look OEM circa 1982ish - I see absolutely nothing wrong with that. I have a Honda GCV160 tank the Me & My Big Hands pulled on the plastic nipple and “Crack” - The gas was a gushing. Taryl, Recently I heard the term “Sparking Points” that made me do the proverbial head scratching. I was trying to figure out why my Kohler K-241 on a 107 IH Cub Cadet starts normality and after running for a short while seems to get very very hot and evacuates way more engine vapors from the side engine vent than normal. Some say that my governor is broken internally or maybe something as simple as replacement of the points/condenser. The engine does not race at a high rate of speed and appears to start and run as it had for several years with the exception of the overheating. I may try swapping out the carburetor just in case the needle valve may be sticking. Yes, It is the original OEM carburetor - It’s old like me. Best Regards From Central Kentucky.

Do you think that a treadmill elevator would also work as an elevator for your tractor pull? I have taken a number of elevators from trashed treadmills and was wondering what I could do with them. I think they are dc and 12 volts. I think your design is better, but I was wondering what you thought. Love the idea.

Never-Seize was one of the tricks I learned when working on cars with aluminum heads. Occasionally the spark plugs would seize in the cylinder heads and take the threads right out with the plugs… no bueno!

Awsome channel u have here.. tough i got a issue whit to b&s engines one is a 8hp the other a 11 hp both same issue. When the spark plug is connected the starter turns a little then it all stops almost as if thers somting bad inside going on.. and its not the issue off starter got 2 for testing, also good battery and cables (100ah battery new) just took off the toop too see if ther g or build up but nada cylinder looking good, next i ges look in crankshaft area, but any sugestions? Turns nice whit no splug
