Awesome Video! I've fished Ray Hubbard my whole life and never thought to throw a top water around the boat slips.

Awesome bag and great day on Hubbard, good job. Given its Hubbard you should add another 2lbs to the bag weight.

Great day for you both! Do me a favor and grab those bad boys on the back when they have those big trebles everywhere! It paralyzes them and they won’t swat you with the bait or hooks. Great video and thanks for sharing.
@SimplisticFishing2 жыл бұрын
There is no easy way! I've done that too and got a hook in the finger. It's the risk you take throwing them and it's totally worth it. :) Tight lines!!

Lot's of big fish there, we fished it for many years, lived right down the street in travis ranch.

For sure, getting them to bite is the trick! Thanks for the support.

Its just a true testimate of what Texas does with its fisheries. A lot of attention goes to the other lakes that have the hype but most lakes in Texas are great fisheries due to the Parks and Wildlife management that I see in your state. I just wish we had that type of management here in Arkansas seems all they care about are trout. LOL Great job guys yall been ballin.

Amen to that. Texas Parks and Wildlife is amazing, one of the reasons I moved here. Cheers!!

Awesome vid man! Hey question for you in filming. I want to start recording my fishing trips too. Do you just film the whole time in 1080? Seems like your battery would die or you’d run out of memory on your card?
@SimplisticFishing2 жыл бұрын
I do film continuously throughout the day and you are right it will eat up a battery in no time. I have a cigarette plug under my dash so I bought a USB adapter for it along with an extension cord. You want to buy the largest SD card your camera can handle. I can get about 4-5 hours per card.
@astrahl2 жыл бұрын
@@SimplisticFishing awesome thanks! Do you typically shoot in 1080 or 4k. 4K eats my battery up haha
@SimplisticFishing2 жыл бұрын
@@astrahl yeah, I shoot in 1080p but when I upload to YT I select 4k in my editor.

is that the best place to fish in Dallas?
@SimplisticFishing Жыл бұрын
I don't think so, most people think Hubbard is horrible. Lewisville to me is the probably the best DFW lake. Obviously, it gets way better as you go east or west.

Y’all need to stay out of marinas and peoples slips. I have seen fishermans’ lures smacking into peoples boats dozens of times and they don’t ever care
@SimplisticFishing2 жыл бұрын
Not happening. We have just as much right to water as they do. Just because other people are disrespectful doesn’t mean we are.
@michaeljackson13642 жыл бұрын
@@SimplisticFishing you don’t have more of a right to someone’s property than they do. They pay hundreds a month for that. And I understand that you are allowed to fish within the marina, you cannot fish in someone else’s slip. If I see that shit you bet im going to kick them out. Why spend 25k on a fishing boat when you are just going to sit 3 feet off a dock
@SimplisticFishing2 жыл бұрын
You do not own the lake. You rent the dock that was built on public property. Texas law says I have just as much right to fish it as the owner as long as I don’t get on the dock. If you don’t want people fishing around your boat, don’t store it on public property!
@michaeljackson13642 жыл бұрын
@@SimplisticFishing but it’s not public property. It is the same as renting a house or apartment.
@SimplisticFishing2 жыл бұрын
Wrong, the water is public land. They lease it from the city and rent it to you. You are renting/leasing the dock, not the water and land under it. A homeowner with a dock has to apply to put the structure on public land for the same reason. We all own the water, you just happen to have enough money to rent a slip on public land. This comes down to people being idiots. You are assuming we chuck lures at the boats all day, not the case. We’ve been fishing for years and rarely get hung up or hit anything other than the metal poles we want to hit. We are not that kind of people, as a boat owner I treat your boat like I would treat my own.
