wow a full AMD system that scored over 60 FPS in ALL none Nvidia gameworks games in 4k !!! with almost HALF the price of an Intel/Nvidia system NICE. Don't know why people hates on AMD if AMD gives you 60fps on 4K same as intel/Nvidia then i am not gonna spend that HUGE money just to get the same result in 4k :/

Basically the same build i'm working on although I'm going with MSI's version of the R9 390X, but same mobo and ram. Case, power supply and some other things will be different brands then whats in the video. This was a good video, thanks for posting.

What would you recommend as parts for an Intel PC build which could be used for 3 screen medical imaging (portrait mode 4k monitors) (display port 10bit gray scale), as well as for 4k video editing, and PC gaming? Is it better to go with Intel i7 or Xeon? and can you set up PCIe SSDs in RAID configuration?

hello there, i have a almost similar system with a FX8350, 2x R9 390s , asus M5a97 r2.0, ssd 180gb, hdd 1tb, 8gb ram 2133mhz. PSU 850watt. No over clock, but something is holding back my GPUs since their clock speeds drops too much. In BTF4 if i am in a complete open area they work at their top clock speed getting 130-145fps. but if i start to get close to buildings and stuff both cards start to clock down to some times to 400mhz-600mhz giving me 45-55fps. Whats wrong here?

hi. I have the exact same set up accept for using 8370 CPU and my GPU's are sapphire tri 390x. when I run my benchmarks I get much much lower scores and I am only at 1080p. fallout 4 is around 60fps and drops 30's at times. what the hell am I doing wrong?

I have a very similar built msi 390x gaming xfire, 4770k @4.7ghz, 32gb of vengence lp 1866mhz, force gt ssd, msi mpower ac board, corsair ax1200i. Built mine for VR not for 4k, but it does a pretty good job with 4k.

+MW Technology have you got the bios overclock setting for the 9590, mine will not go above 4.7GHz either through AMD turbo setting or through manual settings. My MB is a Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 Motherboard.

General Question!! I have the MSI 390X and the 9590 clocked at 5Ghz so my question is if i upgrade to crossfire will a RM1000i be enough with the cards overclocked from msi and the cpu overclocked or would it be a good idea to go for the AX 1200i just because i read somewhere that over clocking the 2 cards on a 1000wat psu is pushing it abit just wondering on what anyone else thinks please dont shoot me down for this lol.

Why would you keep the extra hard drive cage in there with nothing in it? At that point it only blocks airflow.

Really really enjoyed the video, i love that you give AMD processors some love! Too many intel "fanboys" only doing there builds! My question with the FX9590 is the heat. People say it runs hot already, so would a corsair h100i adequately cool the CPU?

Hey bro. I build my gaming computer because this video. But the problem is I can't overclock the processor. Overheating! yep.....hairworks was on i get 45fps with my single 390X in 1440p without hairworks. so two 390X's will definitely get 60+fps without hairworks . and 99% people play without that shit

I have the SAME EXACT BUILD as you (this is before I saw this video) but the only thing different in mine is I have 32 gigs of vengeance pro in ddr3 and it helps a lot if you are trying to edit videos and if you are playing games in 4k but thats just my opinion.

by the way, this is going to be one hot running computer? both cards run at 275 tpd and probably about 330 when pushed to the limit. And the hot running fx 9590 with a 220 watt tpd and around 240 or 250 when pushed really hard, wow! A lot of watts and heat with just these 3 hardware.

1. Fan side down ! 2. Yes! 3. Well it Can matter where u put it but IT wont make that much of a difference! Depending on the case you can place the radiator in the top or on the front panel but I suggest u put it where the rear fan placed like he did in this build. I just noticed This is two weeks later but :/.......

I see it more often than not, but people, don't put your CPU coolers on the exhaust at the back, it adds quite a bit to overall system temps. Optimal would have been taking out the HDD cage on the top, and installing it at the front, with an extra exhaust fan at the back!

Great Build. Only thing I would change would be the Gigabyte GPU's for the MSI Equivalent. Those Gigabyte fans are real loud compared to the MSI version.

the original radeon R9 390X graphics cards were sold with two legacy bios and uefi with a crossfire cable it was possible to connect two three four radeon R9 390X graphics cards but now there is no it means the new ones are broken

but to notice the frame times are inconsistent resulting in frequent stutters. I bet if you would have used a 4th gen i7 instead, the system could have performed way better resulting in smooth game-play.
