I think the issue is more that they decided they wanted a massive building because if you have some corporate office you seem more official, and they also needed a way to sell sponsorship to brands (Totinos Fornite Training Room). It seems more like "I want a building" and they just went from there. At the very least they saw what normal sports teams do i.e. name their sports areas after brands that gave them money. The problem is that they have too much space and they have to figure out what they're going to do with it, and they couldn't, so there's so much empty space, pointless rooms etc.. Even the sponsored gaming "training" rooms look like school libraries, they're just large desks with identical computers, a projector and some furniture. In the actual video there's a sequence where they're in a break room and they have to figure out how to make it sound interesting or useful (that's the "spreadsheet" part). The only parts of the building that make sense are the clothing designers, since it makes sense to have them together collaborating, and the actual studio where you can get more professional looking content done. Everything else is there to fill up space since they bought a building that is just way too big to slap the name of corporate sponsors onto.

This is why I hate Company Marketing...I really hope there is a better way for them to market than giving youtuber 50 million to say their company name.

I hate how everyone who is a celebrity or content creator there acts like they are friends when they are all just fake. It’s basically the state of twitch too now.

Honestly, only like 2/8 or so of this guy's videos give me any entertainment value, but the delivery of that one single line is why I even watch these. It summed it up perfectly.

I think it's the urgent desperation of knowing no matter how far you've, "made it" in LA you'll only every be a paycheck or two away from losing your home. It's almost like the $4000/mo 2 bedroom apartments whose occupants who cumulatively gross $5000/mo is the ground floor. The $50M compound leased for $20k/mo to a company that grosses $25k/mo is just the next tier up on the house of cards.
