Sensory deprivation tanks are really not for a lot of people, at best the average person can stand to be in one for about 30-45min, after that, you can easily go into fight or flight. The brain gets convinced something is very wrong after some acclimation. Professional legit sound proof rooms have the same effect. Easy way for some severe cases to go into a mental breakdown. It's best to speak with a psychology professional before you decide to actually try one.

I was wondering why this whole "gamer compound" concept felt so familiar, and then at around the time I got to the Dutch, it finally hit me. This is like those card game compounds seen in card game anime. Like. Duelist Academy in Yugioh GX, or the Nation Branches in Cardfight Vanguard. Giant facilities made just to train people in one specific game that was meant to be casual, turning it into a competitive hellhole. If memory serves me, both examples I used were created by former villains in their respective anime. Also, nothing good ever came from facilities like that. I mean. Just look at what happened in GX. Child possession isn't exactly what one would call a good thing. And the one in Vanguard turned an innocent little kid looking for a fun little card game into a competitive asshole who only cared about winning. I'm telling you. Jon is right. Nothing good happens at a compound.

Don't feel detached, what you're seeing in this video is basically the corporate hellscape version of those streamer houses which used to be popular back when Twitch was getting off the ground. If anything, the fact that so many companies sponsor and funding these buildings should clue you in that it's just big business scrambling to maintain any sort of relevance with the younger audiences as they possibly can.

It’s fucking astonishing that anyone actually signed off on that sponsorship. Cash App has now paid for a huge building with signs all over it featuring the word “THIEVES CASH APP” directly next to each other. On top of that Cash App is a fucking generic brand name so for anyone unfamiliar “100 Thieves Cash App Compound” sounds like a Compound where the 100 Thieves company is developing a Cash App. The worst part about this fucking cyberpunk dystopia timeline is that all the megacorporations are growing exponentially more incompetent so we don’t even get the cool trappings of cyberpunk.
