@@Ryzot Well, you could implement a pairing system. Say the command and squad leaders have an interface to add minor objectives, and you get rated by staying alive, kills, assists, being close to squad and following orders. Players trolling will lose all the time and be paired against themselves, the ones actually following orders and the squad will, over time, be paired with better teams, resulting in more wins, or at least more disputed games. Its not that hard to actually implement, the issue is more or less deadlines to get the product out. Few devs would actually take the time as they want to get paid, not releasing a quality game.

I love the teamwork, the expertise, the simulation feel - the closest one can get to the actual experience of ground warfare. I am looking for organized teams to join up for a gameplay like this - doesn't matter if Squad, Post Scriptum, EFT or anything else similar - but had little luck so far. That was absolutely amazing. These guys don't grab-ass or mess around - squads moving and communicating from start to finish as if it were real world, and squad members instantly responding to their SL instructions! SLs taking up command when other leadership went down, and even delgating low-level positioning to their asst SL while they go off for ammo resupply! Color me completely impressed

Actually if you pay attention to the area he was looking at, you can see figures moving prior to him using the binocular. At 14:33, you can see a giant dot moving across the gap between the foliage. That's how he knew Frenchies were there. And he can identify them as French because he know where his friendlies are and the direction they are heading towards, via map and prior communications. Thus can quickly conclude those are not friendlies.

boiboiboi I bet you are referring to Trakkar (he has a KZbin channel as well). I speak German and I can assure you- he’s not and never was in the military. He confirmed it himself in a Stream a while ago. He just likes to give clear cut commands instead of playing „casual“, which is why he and his pals use NATO-like code language and commands.

@@voidwalker9223 Resident Evil REmake 2 & 3 are on the same engine as Devil May Cry 5. Rainbow 6 Siege is on the same engine as Assasin's Creed Odyssey and For Honor. Squad and PS use Unreal 4, which is the same engine as Fortnite. Squad was originally a mod for Battlefield 2 called Project Reality. A game engine doesn't dictate if a game will be arcadey or not, it's (at least in it's simplest form) a skeleton for how different assets in a game interact with each other. And I'm not a Battlefield nerd, I stopped playing a bit after 4 came out, but having either Frostbite 2 or an engine with similar environmental destruction capabilities would be refreshing to see in Squad / PS or a game with a similar concept. Or at least finding a way to incorporate destruction on the engine they use.
