My fav childhood spot as well, I was like 7 catching little chubs met this old timer, Mr. Outerbridge fished with that green cord you find on blinds, in that same spot pulling up black grouper and big Mangroves. Everytime I make it back I fish Flatts. Stud Almaco my man, you're a beast!

My old neighborhood Flatts.. Believe it or not, they used to race speed boats under that same bridge back in the 70's..

Yes, it was part of the Around the Island speed boat race. They started at Ferry Reach, came up North Shore, came into Flatts Inlet , under the bridge, race around the Harrington Sound and back out , up North Shore , into and back out of Hamilton Harbor up and around Dockyard, down South Shore, around St.Davids and back to Ferry Reach.. Next time I see you out I'll stop and show you some pictures.

Love your adventures. I’m coming to Bermuda for the first time in July. Will be staying over near Hog Bay Park right on the water. Our host doesn’t have any fishing gear. I was hoping to get some gear when I get there. Maybe just a hand rig. C-Mart looks like a great option but is there someplace closer to Hog Bay? Keep wetting that line brother.
