I think Tavi is going down a third path. She knows her Mom is terrible, but is so tired of her Dad choosing Blitz over her. Stolas promised he'd never leave her, and yet he willingly walked into that court room and laid his head down to be executed. In that moment, he chose Blitz over Octavia. Add in the anti-depressants he never divulged to Tavi about and now she's wondering if all those tender moments were real or just because of the drugs. She needs time and space to sort her own feelings out before she can have a serious talk with her dad again.

This was totally “the culture shock episode” for my boy stolas but seeing him beat a certain marquis into mashed potatoes was satisfying to say the least lol

Octavia is extra mad at Stolas because she knows her mother is shitty and he's now abandoned her with Stella for the foreseeable future. She and her mother have never been close and now she's getting a peak at how Stella's even worse than she thought and she can't do anything about it because Stella is all she has now. All because her dad left her for Blitzo, exactly as she was afraid would happen and he promised her he wouldn't do. She's very upset and betrayed and doesn't know what to do with her feelings so she vents them at the one adult involved she feels safe enough to unleash on.

As expected, this episode was definitely worth the wait it turned out to be every bit of epic as I thought it would be, but it was emotional too. a truly fitting end to the shows 2nd season! Literally everything that happened in the episode was both exciting and emotional at the same time. And I must say the fight scene in the episode is the most badass one yet! As for the Stolas and Octavia situation. Stolas may think that Octavia may never forgive him but someday she may come to understand why Stolas did the things he did. and Octavia's song instantly became one of my new favorites! I loved the part where Blitz envisioned him, Loona, Stolas and Octavia spending the holidays together! It really shows deep down, Blitz wants to have a family like that with Stolas. Hell, I even consider that moment to be foreshadowing. And I was completely shocked when I saw that Millie was pregnant, but I excited as well. I mean it may strain Moxxie and Millie's relationship especially if Millie keeps it a secret from him, but I'm sure she will tell Moxxie when the time is right. Although. the worst that could possibly happen, is Millie decides to get an abortion, and she never tells Moxxie. In fact when you think about it there would actually be more at stake besides Moxxie and Millie's relationship. Like, if they have the baby then they'll probably be forced to quit IMP and get safer jobs. Hell, they might even move to Wrath and raise their kid on Millie's family farm. But for now, that's all just speculation until season 3 which I totally look forward to your reactions of the next season Scoot!

You know, there's a saying that I've been saying a lot recently as a mantra: "Sometimes things falling apart are actually things falling into place." And I can't help feeling that this saying perfectly describes this episode of Helluva Boss. Octavia cutting herself off from Stolas gives Stolas a chance to experience a clean cut from his former life, his toxic family, and his royal duties. It might say "100 years of exile" on the paperwork, but this could easily be 100 years of freedom for Stolas. I gotta say, the whole Millie being pregnant caught me completely off guard! It's gonna be fun watching all the reactions and seeing how many people pick up on that! And I must say, you did not disappoint! You picked up on it a lot faster than I did! I am very curious about why Mille is so unhappy and stressed about it. Of all the couples in the show, I think M&M would be the bestest, sweetest, parents in all of hell! Also, on a much more personal note: that Christmas scene with the two gay guys? Hit. Me. HARD. As a gay guy, I can't tell you how much I hope and dream for a family scene like that someday. And the fact that Blitz has that same dream as well... Made this scene hit even harder. All in all, Vivziepop has done it again! I'm so excited for season 3 and where we're gonna go from here! Omg that quote fits Octavia so perfectly! You can really see near the end that she's decided to at the very least, bring him his meds so he wasn't hurting anymore. But, she's confused why he was hurting at all, and low key blames herself since her birth wasn't planned as a mutual benefit. She's going through a lot, and Stolas will realize this once he's on his meds again after having to quit cold turkey for a month....

This was an amazingly emotional episode, and I'm actually really glad that everything didn't just get "normal" after the last one. I don't need it to last a whole season, but it is nice to see some actual consequences to Stolas' spontaneous action in Mastermind. In regards to Millie specifically, you aren't the first one I've seen jump to the "did she cheat" thought because of how distressed she is over finding out she is pregnant. While I won't be mad if that's the direction they go, I think it would be so much more interesting if it isn't that. It's actually pretty common for women who have highly physical jobs (athletes, models, actors) to have that sort of reaction to finding out since it legitimately halts their career and can often time end it completely. We already know that Millie has some self esteem issues when it comes to who she is and what value she has an imp from Wrath, so it would be interesting and VERY relatable if the show decided to explore that thread instead. Either way I look forward to season 3.

Ok there's a lot of things to talk about but what hurt me the most was Octavia and Stolas relationship. Poor Octavia, now is seeing her mom in a new light, she's basically laughing and enjoying his ex husband's fate yet at the same time freaking ignoring how that is hurting her own daughter, seriously? They couldn't just "celebrate" in private? Does she really have to do this in front of her obviously suffering child? Poor baby! I totally get where she's coming from when she rejected her dad, even more after that beautiful heartbreaking song, can we talk about how gorgeous her voice is? It seems that processing emotions with songs is a family thing. She can't trust Stolas that easily again, even though she is trapped with a bratty mother and snobby uncle that are seen to care more about being mean bitches, talking sh!t, and erasing any mark of Stolas in the palace, even if she HATES how her mom and uncle are behaving, it was HER dad the one that in her eyes chose someone, A LOVER, instant of her, his daughter. She doesn't know all the context but for her, in her eyes, her beloved dad was tied to them by obligation, he was miserable, she made him miserable, she was the reason for him to stay in a marriage that he didn't want, it was her fault he was even in pills, since when? Daddy since when you are suffering in silence? Did you even want me in the fish place? and she feels like a burden and she can't allow him to hurt her more. In her eyes she was abandoned, her father broke his promise of never leaving her behind. And Stolas ohhh Jesus so much ignorance and privilege to unpack and unlearn, mixed with his obviously mental decline is going to explore in the worst way possible. I can't lie, I freaking cry with him when Via closes the door, the one good thing about his horrible empty life and he loses her too and Via is alone too again, poor owl family... I can't wait for a proper conversation because both parties aren't wrong but they need to talk and explain everything. Yet again Via doesn't have any context but she's entitled to her feelings. I kinda like that they show how complex divorces are, with "cheating" in an unhappy marriage, and how some parents prefer to make their children suffer if that means getting back to their ex, cuz they are selfish like that. Jesus I always hate it that, I have friends that have been children in that situation and they ended up hating their parents for using them as an object of revenge. I could talk about many things in this episode, possible pregnancy JESUCRISTO AN UNPLANNED BABY?! WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN?, Loona transformation and his new friends I'm so happy for her, blitz&Stolas relationship and their personal development, that vision in the human family ouch my heart, Stolas sinking into depression cuz GOD his eyes in the end screams desperation and "what I'm going to do?"

This is my favorite episode after a bit of reflection. It has everything from good comedy, musical exelance, a lot of emotions, great battle, difficult topics/situations done with respect, and above all... with a somewhat slow overall pace making sure to not leave the audience in the dark. The only bad thing that I can give it it's probably the worst introduction episodes to bring others in.
