Love the artwork on that Spacian! When I was a kid I used to play the heck out of NARC, that was the coolest game to me when that came out.. especially when you are driving the Porsche... for the 5 seconds until you crash it

Charlie, Thanks for giving it a look though. Super Baseball Double Play is just another version of World Series that has the home run Derby. For 3-4 yeara Cinematronics kept shopwing up to trade shows with basically the same game with a few new functions. It was a big kit game. Looking forward to getting hands on this and putting it back in shape. Ill start looking for a CPO now.

@@overtimearcade Yep. You will see versions called Strike Zone, Double Play, World Series, and just Baseball. All the same game with slightly different rosters and the Home Run Derby feature added. It also was one of the first to be able to carry your stats with you. Arcades sold "Stat Keys" and you could plug them into some of these machines and carry it from place to place.

What did those "stat keys" look like? Were they little CMOS thumb-drives or something? 😅

I haven't seen Space Tactics since it was at a tavern called The Snakepit (try the rocky mountain oysters!) over here in Northern Idaho. It was a 3D perspective Space Invaders clone. Not as "cloney" as Spacian though lol. Love your channel man, going to start going through your archives and see if you have any other arcade machines I forgot about. I had a friend who owned a bowling alley who had a cocktail Donkey Kong that I'm still kicking myself in the ass for not buying.

oh that cockpit space tactics is awesome! I love picking up cabs for mates too. I feel I kinda get the hype and high of picking them up , inspecting them and then "owning them" for a couple of weeks before I pass them on

I played Space Tactics the other week at Arcade Club, Bury, UK, it's a weird perspective 3D Space Invaders variant, great idea and visuals but not a great game. Got to love the artwork on the Spacian, and that cute little counter-top.

Yep, this was high on Tayllor's wishlist and he was able to get a great deal on it when the seller eventually lowered the asking price. I'm sure he'll do a great job restoring it back to its original glory!

@@overtimearcade once before on KLOV. I may try Facebook. On FB I actually got lucky asking for a gun for a “Chiller” that I’m making from a Cheyenne by Exidy. Before that, I was having a hell of a time finding one as the top half was missing. This stuff is out there, I know
