Mack at 11:07 is a great looking rig, shame they aren't more popular in Oz, they have such a tough look about them

The variety is simply mind blowing. The truck stops are also very cool, lots of interstate companies there. What is that grain handling facility in the background? I see it's a pretty busy one, a bunch of container trucks moving around there. Excellent video again Phil. Please keep them coming, I really love them.

fyi. so yeah that's the kewdale grain hub owned by CBH called the. CBH Group Metro Grain Centre. in phils videos you see a lot of grain trucks running through. that's most likely where they would be heading. for the container trucks. funny enough they share the entrance to a small container yard down the road that connects freight trains from the metro to the Fremantle Warf (harbour). yet idk why since there's a much larger yard a few kilometres down

@@australiantruckspotting8883 I love trucks. I have a few Modal trucks. Mainly British and European, and Australian kenworth k100 and two Mack 700 cabovers. 1:50 scale. American trucks are in a different scale 1:62 so I don't have any of those.

Nice video mate. It amazes me how quiet some of the Euro trucks are. I hate to admit it, but I'm really starting to appreciate how quiet they are compared to the noisy Kenworths I've been driving.

Thanks mate, glad you liked it. The noisy Kenworths certainly make for better KZbin viewing.

I luv your vids mate. I’m very into oz trucking from the other side of the world. Is that close to Perth? I was thinking going to Perth at the end of the year. Looking forward to a 24h flight what it looks like. 🤣🤣👍🏻

This video was filmed at Forrestfield which is a mixed urban and industrial area in Perth. I think you’d enjoy Perth mate, and Western Australia in general. I once flew to Copenhagen, it was a 5-1/2 hour flight from Perth to Singapore and then a 12 hour flight to CPH after a few hours layover in SNG. It’s always worth it though. Glad you like my vids.

PS. If you come to Perth via Singapore I can recommend you stay there for a couple of days at least. It’s a great place.

@@australiantruckspotting8883 thanks yea, I’ve not decided yet what to do or how long to stay around Perth, but thinking around 2 weeks in Oz. There’s of course more to it than Perth, a really big state, could easily stay in Wa for those 2 weeks without kickin dust. I just quickly searched for flights just the other week, most of em was around 18-26 hours with change. Some in Jakarta and some in Singapore. Yea I’m a ex truckie, work at the office these planing the drivers trips so I could easily say I’m a bit of nerd regarding trucks. Especially Australian ones. So I will of course spend some time spotting or visit some dealers or whatever is possible. 😅😬

@@frankswe9469 Two weeks is pretty short for Australia, it’s a big country with big distances. It’s doable though if you’re really specific on where you want to go.

@@australiantruckspotting8883 yea I know, 2 weeks off work is guaranteed, gotta see if me boss agrees that’ll squeeze out some more vacay time Nov-Dec something. We usually got our wheels rolling on full until middle of dec. Guess the spring starts in Sep so maybe not too hot in Dec? Even tho I’m more of summer guy, it’s a bit hotter in Aus so I gotta ask. 🤣

Eine Menge LKW, mit Container, an den Silos. Was wird/wurde dort verladen?

There is a yard behind the grain silos where the containers are delivered to. Google Intermodal Freight Services Forrestfield Western Australia to see it.
