epic battle fantasy 5 surviving the devourer summon

after many years of grinding
it has been fully tanked
ive finally gotten my natz to where she can survive the dev summon
ive been working on this save file since the game was first released a few years ago..

some side notes i discovered after surviving it if you die anyway to anything in the game after using the devourer summon..the game will still close...so if your unable to win the first lance fight or plan on dying anyway to that fight make sure to save before the fight with lance..so u don't lose progress like i did

It's not a party member, but would a mammoth be able to survive it? They auto revive on death if not weakened/tired, but it doesn't use the auto-revive status to do so

okay the sunglasses dont work apparently... /:

nope..cause it only protects you from 1 hit..the attack has multiple hits

If the sunglasses did allow you to survive the last hit, you'd still die at the start of your turn

@@OverSteam actually that wouldn't be the case because the battle would be over..you'd never get your turn cause all enemies would be destroyed

just use auto revive

just die 1000 deaths clearly you've never beaten the game before otherwize you'd know that dev summon removes all buffs before dealing damage and this special type of removal ignores dispell immunity
