New generation will not remember and understand what kind of Beast Sagan was during HIS era. The way he was there almost EVERY race was incredible. TDF changed rules for sprinter just because of him. There was almost no race he will not put a show.

This clearly shows what an amazing rider Peter is. It's not just about his skill but it's also about his ability to think during the race. He isn't just riding like a senseless drone, he is constantly planning and evaluating his next move, finding a gap before it even forms, predicting how will the cyclist in front of him act. He might look a bit slow when it comes to his appearance in front of a camera but boy, does he have a great head when it comes to cycling and planning the next move.

yeah need make own video too, got rail crossing with small ramp (2rails) on downhill track and doing bunnyhop there sometimes at 55km/h. But It`s easy compared to flat track and high curb where u cant do any mistake. Anyway anyone riding road bike should practise it to avoid potholes and obstacles.

I believe in an interview about that hop that he was pissed they didn't follow him because he had to let up a bit for Nibali and Urban to catch up to him. This almost lead to them all getting caught by the finish.

I see Peter and Wout as very similar cyclists. Both extremely great bike handlers, but the difference is that Wout is slightly the better climber while Peter is by far the better sprinter. Wout has wound up many times in 2nd or 3rd place because he just can't outsprint the pure sprinters, where Peter often did. That's what made him a World Champion so many times while Wout is still chasing his first.

greatest finish ever with the pursuants trying to catch three great riders. Sagan's curb jump causes the other two riders to sprint to catch the gap giving them no legs for the sprint finish, the peloton is 8 seconds behind when he does the curb jump and only 2 seconds behind at the finish.... So close but not close enough! Actually I'm surprised the move was legal it's not like a traffic circle like they can choose to go left or right.

Indeed, a slight miscalculation on the bunny hop and his race would have ended. It's also a way to get a sidewall failure coming off that curb. I've had sidewall tire failures doing just that.
