fun fact about the Super Pershing, only one ever existed, and it wasn't produced or shipped anywhere, it was just a normal Pershing that was modified in the field. A bunch of guys cut off armor plating from knocked out German tanks and welded it onto their Pershing...

I loved this battle, there aren't those big mass of dead bodies around but they're splitted around the field, that's cool and more realistic
@nathanielfox37867 жыл бұрын
This was one of the most realistic battles I have seen from you! Please keep doing this! I would love for a surprise counter-attack on this city by superior western allied forces, however, the Germans had reinforcements coming in to begin building defenses in the city. So you would have the city held by the remaining german infantry who got one of the older tanks up, like the Tiger please none of the super tanks to start. But then a large wave of US forces come in and surprise the small force who know that they have allies coming to help they just need to hold for let say 6 minutes. Then after 6 minutes or so have a line of reinforcements who don't know what's happening coming in and try to either run the US forces out again or if the small group of infantry somehow did manage to hold their ground reinforce them.

Oh and no way in hell is that thing taking 3 straight shots from that T30's 155mm gun and still functioning. That 155mm wasn't the super high speed armor piercing round that the T29's 105mm gun was or the T34's 120mm gun was, but that 95 lb high explosive shell could still kill any tank in production or in prototype at that stage by virtue of causing massive spalling on the interior surface of the enemy's armor, shredding the men inside the tank.

Ooh DipplexHeated please do a intense urban tank battle of Stalingrad! Despite the difficult and horribly unsuited terrain for tanks in the crowded and debris-filled roads of Stalingrad, tanks nevertheless played an important role throughout the battle. Also maybe more of a Battle of Budapest, 1945. Some of the last major heavy tanks battles of the eastern front took place in Budapest. The Hungarians were tough like their German ally and Soviet foe.
@22steve51506 жыл бұрын
The reason why the machine gun turrets have shields unlike most WW2 era gun mounts is because they are ring mounts (the gun and shield attatched to a ring and revolves using bearings) instead of pintle mounts. Pintle mounts were much cheaper and easier to produce and had almost zero maintenance requirements, but of course they usually required the shooter to get out of the hatch and stand, sit, or squat on the top of the hull of the vehicle.

Great job! Go and make something like the defense of the Reichstag with prototype tanks in the far future when the Germans will finally be on their edge in this alternative universe. But don't limit the area to only the Reichstag but also to some streets and blocks surrounding it. Small correction: you called that spg a jagdpanzer 38 6:38 but at 7:00 I saw that the gun was a kwk 42 (the panther gun however on an spg it should be called a pak 42) so it's an E-25 (prototype), one of the spg's that would replace the jagdpanzer 38t. The jagdpanzer had a less powerfull 75mm pak 39 gun.

"Yeah^" was a "statement" of agreement. He was basically saying, "yea, I want some news on Gates of Hell." I'm glad you're proving yourself to have passed elementary school by showing your observational skills. Basically, I am saying "no shit Sherlock. Your detective skills are on point." EDIT: That *was* meant to come out harsh. Basically, the only two statements that trigger me on the internet are "Hey,you're not *insert person*" and "am I the only one to do this/that." I will always meet these two statements with extreme sarcasm or harshness. Because, one, most people are smart enough to deduct that person A is not person B, and for the second one, you're not the only person on planet Earth. Why would you be the only one to do said thing? Both of these statements usually cause me to flip shit.
@davidgullberg21457 жыл бұрын
Dear MrProfilen Why did you spell earth with a capital e. There is no planet called earth, if you have paid attention in class yyou would know that the planet we currently live on is called Tellus. Note: Tellus (unlike the word earth) should always have a capital t because it being a name. The word profilen wich is included in your username is the Swedish name for profile, specifically "the profile". /Yours sincerely David Gullberg
@MrProfilen7 жыл бұрын
David Gullberg Unfortunately in American classes all the way up to highschool, they only teach you the word earth (unless you take a course by my knowledge, or in my state at least). Not Tellus. And, I don't know why you're talking about my name. I already know that. But, I didn't use it in a Swedish context. By the way, your first sentence should have a question mark. You asked a question, right? It's funny how out of my whole comment the only thing you could find was about my name and earth.
@davidgullberg21457 жыл бұрын
What context did intend it to be in? You said the following: "...the only thing you could find was about my name and earth", so you mean your earth? Do you own the earth?

Idea for the next battle, these 10-20 germans that have survived with their Jagdtiger need to hold out through the American Counteratack, with reenforcments on the way. Ton of men in trucks usw. But these spawn where the germans spawned, so it'll take a while.
