It was STW that hooked me first in 2017 and got me to open my wallet for the llama loot boxes and Founders Edition, etc. I've always wished STW would have been the one that blew up like BR did. Although not financially smart, I would absolutely firehose money directly at STW if Epic brought it back into the fold along with the rest of the metaverse and gave it actual content. At the end of the day executives don’t know the difference between pve and pvp. They just think it’s all shooters. So they have their shooter game mode and make content for that in battle royale but if they wanna make new profits they think they should expand to other types of game genres to get a new player base. That did not work. Making content for people who actually like Fortnite works which is seen in OG. So bringing save the world would be a great move and making it more like destiny or helldivers would really help.

I like the idea with the open world concept and epic already proven it with Lego Fortnite. they could combine this with the old Horde mode and using defenders would make more sense. It would also be good to rescue survivors who help protect the base and maybe farm recorcces or sending on a mission.

Think of how many hours are being poured into the upcoming Chapter 5 finale concert. This is a one off event that will be of no value once Chapter 6 starts. If Epic put the same amount of time into making new content for Save the World…that would have SO much value to the players.

There's 2 major problems that come with the increase in popularity of Save The World, aside from corporate greed. 1. The playerbase becomes less dense with educated players and more players will fall into the toxic trading and such playstyle in the early game. This will require multiple changes to the game to remedy so that this problem does not grow or is solved entirely. Those changes being the inability to drop items in zones that they cannot be found in, and the game wide removal of broken weapons and items created by bugs, exploits, and dev mistakes many years ago (not including legacy weapons). 2. There are almost 800 bugs and issues currently known about, and a majority of them need to be fixed if the game's popularity continues to improve to prevent a disappointed and annoyed new playerbase. I enjoyed this nice concise video, I hope you continue some content related to Save The World in the future.

That idea of being able to find vbucks in missions is actually really good. Not only would it help retain new players but it would also make exploration feel more rewarding to everyone, even if you do only find 5-10 vbucks per mission it would still get players excited to play the game more. As a PL 145 player and done the platinum trophy I have nothing left to do in STW. It’s a fantastic game and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I only play for vbucks and 160 missions now and ventures if I can be bothered. Look how much effort they have put into Lego and rocket racing etc. STW was the first mode and it’s been left in the dust and so sad to see and play. Continued gameplay bugs that are in the game for months on end just shows how epic treats STW. I’m hopeful one day in the future it’s gets some real love and we finally get a Twine quest line like they promised.

I do love the idea of an open world stw mode. Maybe they can use the br maps for the open world mode to test it out? If it does work out, then maybe use the assets from the br maps and make a new map for the open world mode once it get out of beta. I've been playing save the world for a few years now and looking at all the weapons, heroes, build customizations, I realized that they could make an MMO using everything that's already in the game. Maybe an alternative way to level up your character but more entertaining if you don't like the usual 4 missions with reused assets, it would also be a way to explore the world and the story of save the world more.

Something I heard that came to mind recently is that the latest season has no voice lines due to it being developed during the actor strikes. Since save the world is heavily reliant on voice lines maybe that could be why there has been no new content since then. Probably not but I will continue coping regardless.

I always wanted enhancements to STW. Like make the graphics better without changing the old fortnite style, close the quality of the cinematic trailer with the lighting. We definitely need that new UI I've heard about and make the emote wheel the modern one but make it still function like the STW wheel. At first i saw the trailer of save the world and i really wanted to play it. then BR came out i played for abit i think until the end of chapter 1 season 6, that's where i started to really enjoy save the world. i found myself playing it more and more each day, the missions were repetitive but really fun the grind really motivated me to get better at the game and also reach higher and higher level, althought after i reached the max power level that motivation went away. Now i just download the game each year to play frostnite. i would totally see myself getting back on the grind spending my free time on the game if they added new content.

The shelter missions are there for this concept. very plain tho. also the "build the radio tower" missions accomplish finding the survivors part of the lore aspect. Also you get a base of operations in each zone to "Fight the storm" where you build a base to defend against a horde and the structures are saved and you can leave as you please and it will still be there.

Founders get no V-Bucks from the new Hunt the Titan mission recently added. It's a way for Founders to stop playing their games so they gift people less. Epic Games adding more mission types would be ethical if they expanded power level zone areas and added more permanent power level zone areas, but that wouldn't make Founders earn less V-Bucks.

I absolutely adore these ideas! I recently got back into it since movement & I actually got around to understanding the menus lol, it just got easier to play. Menu update? Yes absolutely! Story continues? Yes ofc! The dialogue is so unique. Battle passes?? Oh most definitely, should be cheap & maybe be as big if not, a lil bigger than the current og passes. They could utilize bringing back the starter packs as pass skins for a “get a cheaper while it’s here” before rereleasing them. Open world (non Lego) game mode??? It has soooo much potential, it’d be so cool & nice competitor to other survival open worlds. Tho one thing they should definitely do is maybe get back the idea of making stw a horror game, nothing gory just more ominous & eerie to really pump up the game mode & make it different than stw now. I’d also like to throw out a bonus idea & that is to make a stw inspired hero shooter! Like overwatch & the newly released marvel rivals, it could really utilize the abilities of the heroes you own, ofc would need to be balanced out but something that does what Lego Fortnite is doing & that is making different main game modes off of its design.

Personally I feel like the dedicated player base is either committed enough to keep playing OR done everything and moved on. In my opinion I feel like they need to work on a way to keep the new players engaged and active. Like make a tutorial for how new traps work, how missions work, weapon upgrades, etc. So that they stay playing stw. For example, show the scaling of weapons so players know what is good and what isn't (blastatron 9000, blunderbust are good. The stop axe is bad) make a star scaling like out of 5 or 10

I think the best way to Save the World is to fully integrate it back into the ecosystem. Fortnite clearly wants variety in their game, and the only other PvE offering currently is Lego Fortnite, which is very different in gameplay and vibe to STW. Maybe this is a controversial take but I'd like to see Save the World move free to play and recieve a pass like the Music and Lego Passes, there are a few things that could be given cosmetics in STW for a pass (Cosmetic Schematics, similar to the schematics in the Starter Packs, Hoverboard Skins).

I love STW we just got a whole new venture zone last year, so glad this mode is getting more daily players, then epics new metaverse modes

Seems like they put barely enough effort into it to keep it on permanent life support. They throw people a bone once in a while with a new questline or, in this case, a new mission type but I feel like they do this to keep the people who paid $20 USD for a bundle happy. I love the game and would love to see them pick up that story line and keep running with it (or at least finish the rest of it) because it was actually fun. I think most of the ideas you brought up are excellent. Imho, they need to do two things for the people who've played this game for years now: 1. Stop charging full price for a new bundle to people who've already bought. They charge less for Crew Pack and offer a helluva lot more bang for your buck. I think $8-10 for people who already own it is a fair price point. 2. Let the characters you've earned in STW be playable in Battle Royale. It's good form and good business. The double dipping Epic does when it comes to STW's assets is out of control. While it's too bad that some of those are former Battle Pass skins, if you earned gold enough to buy them, you should be able to run them. Grinding out gold is as comparable as grinding out XP. Considering most missions only give 50 gold per mission, it can take quite some time to earn enough to pick up Legendary or Mythic characters. At the very least we should be able to use them elsewhere in Fortnite.

stw already has daily quests that give ussually 80-130 vbucks and xp from stw counts towards the normal battlepass

Honestly the 2 main things i can say that will 100% increase the player base is make the Menu more simple and easier for new players and just make the Game Free and make the start packs give heroes instead of STW access. I just know it will work

​@carnage9536 They've done it with the first few starter packs, and the heroes in question were just reskins of already existing ones with slight stat changes both better and worse than the original, non paid version, but overall unnoticeable. It was mainly cosmetic, like Metal Team Leader getting a pink teddy and whatnot. You also have the founder heroes and PS4 exclusives, which again were just reskins.

Yes if: A) they expand the stw team B) actually put effort into advertising it C) make it free D) twine rework and questline E) rework the missions a bit to make it less repetitive

Don't rework the current missions, just make new ones. If you were to rework them you will still be left will the same few missions just slightly different. But, I do think they should not rework but make changes like reducing the evacuate the shelter timer, that timer is WAY too long.
