Despite your lack of deserved recognition for your talent of originality Lionel, you never fail to impress us. Continue strong and confident with your passion and know that it will all be worth it in the end when you do leave your mark in piano history. I personally admire your courage and dedication towards composing these beautiful eccentric piano pieces when I know you could easily obtain more success (KZbin standards) by playing the classical/pop crap everyone wants. Thank you for the many hours of quality music. I aspire to be like you one day.

Thanks Troy! While I would love to get more recognition (who wouldnt?) I also find that its very hard for me to get excited to play the popular stuff that people like to hear these days. As for classical, I also have to truly love it in order to play it.

Hello I've never left a comment before, but I just want to tell you that your music helped and inspired me so much. I have an incredibly busy mind and I am super sensitive to sounds. But your music calms my head down somehow. When I listen to your music my thoughts slow down and I'm less aware of my surroundings. Like a moment of peace. It also helps me expres my emotions as I somehow recognize myself in your music. I think that's the magic of your music. It has a part of everyone in it. I listen to your songs on a daily basis now. My favorite song is Pachelbel's nightmare. The first time I listened to it I interpretated at someone's life due to all the different melodies. life has it's ups and downs. Happiness, anger. Calm and peace at one moment, excitement and anxiety one second after and then right back to peace. I'm not sure if you intended it that way, and if you even agree. Maybe I'm looking too deep into it. And you even inspired me to learn the piano myself! It didn't work out very well. I'm just not made of music and my hands are too small. But I tried something new! Because of you! And that's what counts :) I just want to say thank you for bringing music to my life and peace to my mind. Keep on doing what you're doing. You're making this dark and grey world a bit brighter with every melody you play.

Hm. Original version consumes a tragic pain, anger, weakness and thirst. And ending almost open. Like about thirst of vengeance what siting in heart so long... But this verson is a story. New parts actualy finishing purpose of vengeance and sounds more like horror movie soundtrack... IDK what to think about this version. So much love original one.

This will probably get lost in the comments, but I just wanted to say that this piece has always been my favorite from you besides The Last Rite. I remember listening to those songs back in seventh grade and how much they were able to get me through, and I just want to thank you for creating such beautiful music. For years, you were a relatively small channel and it’s shocking to see that your fanbase and production value have grown so quickly all of a sudden (I guess your channel won’t be a “small corner” anymore), and while it’s a little sad, I know everything will turn out good in the long run. I loved what you did with the ending as well. Don’t listen to the haters, and keep making amazing music like this :)

What a beautiful piece. There’s a quiet intensity here, like a deeply burning rage that won’t die. Then at the end it crescendos into the culmination of that rage, then swiftly ends. I wonder, was their vengeance satisfactory?

when I listen to good music, I like to come up with stories to go with them, the better the music, the easier. I am saying this because, the very end, 3:18 onwards, I don't even have to think, the story is just clear the villain wins, brutally beating the hero who stood in their way. they know there are other heroes out there, and that they should move quickly, but they know they have won, and want to enjoy their victory. 3:43, the hero is finally dead, and the hero sits on the throne, claiming their power, knowing that the other heroes can't win now, the villain begins to chuckle to herself, as darkness covers the land. 4:10, somewhere, far away and deep below ground, two entites meet. entity one had said "is it done?" though the question had already been answered. entity two had continued; "then everything is as it should be." entity one agreed; "now that she is in power, we can continue our manipulations of this reality" 4:24, the third entity finally shows itself to be part of the conversation; "not so loud. someone may remember this. we may be speaking in minds that are not our own. her downfall will be her unwavering belief in her power. let us not make the same mistake. we speak in words far beyond this world, they contain meanings that could shatter our plans like glass."

Idk why but I imagine a mother telling his daughter about her revenge. At first she tells her how much she's been wronged in her life, why does this happen to her, life is unfair, basically she vent everything to her daughter Then the soft part she tells her daughter how she did want to stop her revenge. But how? She was alone at that time. She's suffering alone. No one help. So her hatred grew and grew instead of fade. She feels sad she can't stop but at the same time she wants justice. Then the music goes on, telling she continues her revenges. She didn't know what she did right or wrong. But at this time she regrets nothing. If she were to choose again from the beginning whether she chooses revenge or not, she will done the same. After that, her revenge finally see the end. She found her life full with nothing about revenging those who wronged her. She decided to take a drastic measure. She wants to end them properly. Even if it costs her life. She sacrifices everything. Put everything on stake. As if the life after fulfilling her revenge never come. Never thought about it. Never even consider it. And that's how the dramatic ending come from.

This is how villains feel... euphoria when they slaughter half a planet, and see the hero, saver of humanity fall down, on their knees, bending their will to them, praising them as saviours, freeing them from suffering - being used by humanity, enduring immense pain fighting the villain. This is how hero's downfall feels, downfall to the dark path, path they take on after they've been used and hurt way too much, sick of "saving" people. Why save them, when you can rule them.
