I asked KZbin what I should do for my next video in a small poll and a full day of Pike fishing was picked as the winner!! (For now) There are so many different ways to target Pike I really can't decide which is my favorite.

Great video bud! You are right giant starts at 45", I say big starts at 42". A 40" pike is nice but 42" is where the shoulders really get wide. If you cant grab it by the neck with man sized hands that's a big esox! Post spawn and October is when I target big pike in NW Ontario. I dont go for then in summer much. Again awesome video, cheers!

Ever had pike just ram the bait instead of eating it? They do that on my lake. They'll ram into my spoon, and I stop reeling and let the spoon flutter like a stunned bait fish, then the pike turn right around and grab it.

A white 6 inch dr spoon has caught the most largest pike for me. It seems like your pike are longer per lb than here. A 40 inch fish would be around 17-20lb . @@ClaytonSchickOutdoors Here in New England we don't have many places that have walleyes, pike, or lakers. We have the first 2 in the Connecticut River which is where I am going this morning, but I mostly get smallies there.
