Clayton laying out another epic slam fest, great seeing all the respect you show towards these fish,!!

Right on people don't realize just how many pike die after release. Never use grippers on toothy critters it damages this pikes jaws making it difficult for the fish to eat. Also never pinch behind the head the lower jaw like Clayton. I pinch down bards on all 1/0 sized hooks, easy-release no hook in arm-hand with and in the pike others points are embedded in arm (not fun wow).

I love how you treat and respect the fish you catch. We all should strive for that and the quality of fishing would be that much better for everyone.

Hey Bud, great fish! Not trying to tell ya how to fish but when you hook up and are fighting the fish with your right hand, thats a great time to reel up all that loose line.

I’m living rent free inside that head of yours, Clayton. Forever will you catch yourself saying etcetera incorrectly. Nobody cares, you’re still the freakin’ man! When these borders open up, I’d love to come share a seat in the AlumaCraft?!? Or maybe sitting around the buddy heater dropping big ol’ jogs for some giant lakers or some gwiant walleyes 😂

Loving the pike and fly videos keep em up! Is there a reason you prefer to fight the fish in by stripping instead of fighting him on the reel? I personally prefer to fight big fish on the reel

Is it just personal preference not getting the fish on the reel?
@ClaytonSchickOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
Personal preference yes, if the fish runs long enough to put it on the reel I will, but other than that reason there is no need if you can control your line :)
