So envious...have always wanted a dirtbike since i was a child. Have never been able to justify the money to make a purchase. Maybe someday i hope. 👍 😃

Beautiful place.. but I really don't see any need for bark busters in this trail at all. It's wide everywhere. Nice trails! Pretty!

I want to buy you some bark busters after seeing that launch! LOL Have to say it almost looked like you meant to do that with the bike running and pointed and all. Glad you were alright.

I did grab some throttle on purpose because if i fell over to the left I would have likely landed on a stump that was on the left corner of the trail. I did have a stick jab me good in the back of the leg but otherwise the bike took the brunt of the damage. Thanks Matt

I've been on an ATV in at 1.000+ m. It was around 12:30 AM -30 degrees celcius. Atv had 4x4 and 600cc, beast. We were 5 atvs. After 10 km of pure ice road, literaly we were running on a frozen river we stoped. Most of us weren't able to hold the acceleration cause of the low temperature. After we stoped we warmed our hands with little plastic bags the size of the hand fullof a transparent solution that when you agitate it turned white and it had around 45-50 degrees celcius. After that we started rolling on the icy river. The 3rd guy in the row starts honking. He shows with his right hand to look on the right side of the river. I looked immediately and i realise we were in very big shit. A pack of wolfs was running with us at around ... idk... hard to guess, i would say 30 meters near us. We were lucky we had our atvs and the sound from the engine was holding them. It was night, in the forest, at 1.000m elevation, in winter at -30 degrees celcius. I guess if we did not stop to warm up some of us surely had to stop, stoping all atvs. We probably were dead. Nasty and scary shit.

If an 'epic' ride is some forest-reclaimed former log truck industry road now well rutted by dirt bikers then I think we can find room for rider improvements. Bicycle routes truly go off-road where trucks never rolled. Think about it. Me ? I compare new and old USGS topographic maps to locate vacated roads. The US forest Service formerly had an agenda of building these systems to within one half mile of each other. Who's up to make that half mile happen ? Put 60 miles of dirt on the odometer before its an epic .
@lorencoffin6197 жыл бұрын
There are a lot of real singletrack miles in that area, this one just happens to be mixed with old roads. And it's the rule here you stay on the existing trails. He's doing just fine.

A few things wrong with that: There are Dirtbike ruts all over that trail so obviously there are a lot of them that ride it. Hiker trails, especially one that long, would likely have rest areas (areas along the trail without vegitation/stumps and whatnot for people to sit on). there are none along that trail. There are a few spots where the trail is only as wide as a dirtbikes tire, so unless the people who made the tail walked heel to toe, and everyone else followed suit, then they would be wider. So hell its more unlikely that that trail is ever used by hikers.
@billybenchcraft9 жыл бұрын
It is a legal trail, notice the steel bridges that are put in over the creeks? Those kind of bridges are put in on trails in this area that are motorcycle only. The dual use trails (quad/bike) trails have wider bridges usually with a guardrail of some sort. The trails back in the day when I started riding the area over 25 years ago had bridges made with logs across the creeks covered with 2x4's, chicken wire and brush for good measure. That trail was a wide open well groomed highway!
@xxxcheezxxx12357 жыл бұрын
damn, watching that whole video from start to end, cameras just don't tell you enough about the riding dynamic. On alot of cams it's kinda hard to get a perspective of hill incline/rut depths/dirt compactness, so I'm watching this guy and his buddy tear it up, and at the end I'm like, damn good riding, then suddenly the bike gets away and I'm like OH SHIT.
