The old dirty bastard is my favorite! However, here in Oregon I’ve known people that work at our voodoo for a couple years and we will get a free box of donuts every once in a while. I have to say I can never eat more than one every few months lol

My husband and I went to Voodoo Donuts in Denver. We had the ODB, the voodoo, but my favorite was the maple bacon bar. Sweet and savory. Glad you guys enjoyed.

You two really need to come to Portland. Voodoo is a little touristy for most locals and Blue Star is the spot to go to. But lots of food and beer to eat. I remember when Voodoo first opened, you used get a bucket of day old doughnuts for a couple a dollars. I miss those days, after they appeared on Anthony Bourdain they blew the hell up in popularity. There's always a line now and they've changed their recipes to more premade to handle the amount of people.

I live in LA and haven't tried the one in universal studios. We have been twice to the original locations in Portland and tried the maple/bacon bar doughnut and those were my faves! Happy eating guys:) Love your videos!

Voodoo Doughnuts is originally from my hometown, Portland, Oregon! Did you know they used to have doughnuts that were filled with Nyquil and Pepto Bismol?! You can also get legally married at their locations(coffee and doughnuts are included for the reception, of course). It's very popular with tourists but the lines can get way too long for us locals, plus a lot of people think Blue Star Donuts is better. You should try Blue Star Donuts if you visit... sometimes they have these amazing crème brûlée donuts that come with a little shot of liquor, yum.

The original Voodoo, Portland (Oregon), sold a doughnut served with a shot of Nyquil cough medicine in a plastic container. The FDA got on them, and threatened them to remove it. They were not licensed to sell medicine. Neopolitan ice cream has chocolate, vanilla and strawberry flavors. This Neopolitan was no different; there was a thin vanilla layer between the strawberry glaze and chocolate cake.

So funny that this is your dream come true, but you know I understand! Was there a big line for donuts? I was in line for over an hour when I went to one of the VDs in Portland, and then the donuts kinda tasted like Dunkin' Donuts: good, but nothing so special. I agree--the cereal was soggy. Once it's in contact with that icing, I think it just starts soaking up moisture. It was a fun experience, though! I loved watching you two enjoy these! I lived just an hour away from there and never visited!
