Nick, I want to honestly thank you from the bottom of my heart. You kind of changed my mental health, as well as physical health. I ended up stumbling into your shorts/vids & you managed to entertain me enough so that I'd stick around and watch every video you post. I started running, got myself a pair of Brooks Ghost Max, and I'm currently running 5km at 4:30/km (so 22:46 or something). I came from vaping a shitload everyday, feeling slow, tired, fatigued. You showed me it was possible, so I started training. First 2 months was pure zone 2 (mafetone) training. After that I felt comfortable with speed work, and my goal right now is sub 20 5k's, as well as a marathon! Thank you so much! Lets get better, faster, together!

God I love your 5k commentary videos. That was awesome and so inspiring. The thing I love about 5k distance is your race at 3 min km is exactly the same as my race at 6 min km. Hard all the way and building to max effort and pain in the final km. And everyone finds a group of runners to settle in with and push each other.

Congrats with a sub 15!!! Unreal footage. These are absolute favourites of mine! Yesterday I did a 19:15 5k which took ages to achieve. I go through very simmilar thoughts and the execution yet there is always more to learn. Thanks Nick for being the best ! :D also that guy in 1st place ran the race solo in such a surreal speed. Kudos to him. Mind bending stuff.

Maybe one point about the picture quality, I watched the video on big TV screen and your legs (running your crazy pace) looks little bit choppy. Not sure what exact camera was used, but recording and exporting in 50fps or 60fps would make a trick. Or at least make sure you export video in same fps rate as it was recorded so no conversion takes place. But anyway great content, keep postings more.

Hey Nick great race! I’ve raced at Battersea a couple times and occasionally my watch doesn’t sink with the course markers. On a 10k I noticed the 9k mark consistently was out 160m, so I think they put it wrong on the course. If your watch splits 5-10s before the marking on course, which one do you trust?? In this video it looks like the 1km mark you went off your watch as opposed to the course markings. Love the vids!!!!!!
@justalilbester6 ай бұрын
Glad you loved the video. I must say when my watch beeped it was fairly close to the markers. So it lined up quite nicely (even if the metrics on screen were a tiny bit out).
