Noice catch. It looks like your MinnKota was running when the fish struck right beside it. I've wondered if my MinnKota would spook them into not biting.

That has not been my experience. Actually had a fish I apparently brought to the boat attack my running Minnkota. Didn't just bang at it but grabbed the motor and shook it violently. Got a pic of the teeth marks in the motor case to prove it. Never saw the fish, before or during, but it was definitely there.

I think is really all depends on the general fish mood that day. I feel like the pinging of electronics, the water displacement of the boat (and general boat movement), the trolling motor (as mentioned), and other things are ALL felt by muskies. The boat in general makes a lot of noises. I do try to limit foot pedal use as I go into the figure-8, but it really varies if there is wind obv. Interesting stuff to discuss.....
