Eckland is a LARP group from Germany located near Cologne in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. We startet as a small group of friends who wanted to represent the harsh life of simple medieval soldiers. After many years we evolved to a well organized troop of 20+ people with our own complex background stories. Unlike many other Larp groups we focus an basic roles with few commanding positions and other special roles. Our playstyle is direct, consequent and often involves conflict with other partys. We like a good amount of realism in Larp-battles, run away if the enemy is too overwhelming and would rather die good-looking than live ugly :)

My pc couldn’t handle all the textures and assets sadly.but empire does need a hard rework and roster expansion in the melee department at least. We need foot knights, so that the army doesn’t need both swordsmen and great swords.

@@RebelCannonClub74 You do need a powerful PC for Warhammer 3, also lot's of people who had high end PC's at release complained of poor optimization. Try turning down textures and shadows and things like weather effects, they really hit your GPU. In all Total War games i have ultra unit size but will happily turn down everything else so i can play at reasonable FPS.

@@victor6814 Definitely LARP tho I'm not 100% sure this is true buhurt. Looks to be a lot of foam weaponry, and the orcs as well. If this were true buhurt you'd have everybody wearing full metal armour with real metal weaponry (blunted of course). Definitely looks fun tho.

​@@looking4themountain in my experience, the best, the most likeable players are those who care about the experience of others, the showmanship, and the creative aspect of these games. Firstly, they commit to their character consistently, even if it doesn't benefit their chances of winning a fight or completing some task. Secondly, they show initiative and provoke people around them into action, seek out adventure. Finally, through all that, they stay compassionate and help other players have fun by being a good sport. That's my personal top three.

@@looking4themountain If you've ever played DnD, then it's the same type of thing. A normal RPG, like Skyrim, is all about being the "most powerful" warrior/mage/whatever.. but DnD is about having fun with friends, creating an interesting story, and also letting the "dice" decide your fate. You're not supposed to win every dice roll in DnD, otherwise the story gets very stale. Same with LARP.

Very interesting. Glad to see how battles took place. The first recorded ancestor was a knight from Cagno (Val di Non) who was in the first Crusade. My blood was spilled when Belgrade was taken from the Ottomans. We also contributed to saving Vienna when it was under siege.
