I like how it's the truck's fault and not the driver

Yeah, I guess if it wasn’t the PCM, fuse junction box, and starter needing replacement that ultimately prevented the vehicle from starting, I may agree with you, but since it was, your comment is a little off base.

Hang in there my friend, vehicles these days all have issues no matter who the maker is, to give you an example my wife and I bought a Rubicon brand new in 2020 and exactly 3 weeks later they were replacing the transfer case and it hadn’t even been off road yet. We have yet to have any problems since then and are grateful, so we hope all goes well and we look forward to seeing you back on the trail soon.

Thank you for the words of encouragement. It has been a month, and I really want it back on the road. Too much great camping weather happening now!!

@@FiveAngelsOutdoor You’re definitely right about that, I’m just lucky enough to live in the mountain area of North Georgia. Good luck with the Bronco and we’re all pulling for ya. 😁👍

Appreciate your calm thoughtful delivery without ranting or bad-mouthing the brand. Quite the mystery, can’t wait to hear the ending!

Thanks!!!! It is disappointing, but I am sure it will be resolved.

So what was the final diagnosis/solution?
@FiveAngelsOutdoor4 ай бұрын
The dealer went through their motions. Replaced in this order: PCM Fuse Junction Box Starter No issues with the rig starting since. No indication what caused this. I have heard of same things happening to other Bronco owners.

It’s the fuel pump. Known issue.
@FiveAngelsOutdoor10 ай бұрын
They have not even focused on fuel pump yet. They are focused on electrical system. Hope it is resolved soon.

Dude that sucks. I've driven Fords forever and have always found them to do the right thing. Hopefully that holds true here. I know it sounds ridiculous, but have they done the really simple stuff like changing the batteries in the FOB/replacing it? Hope to see you back on the trails soon!

Definitely frustrating and very surprising. I hope they work through it all. I miss the truck and I need me some outdoors time!!! Thanks for the words of encouragement.

Man, what a tough break! I sure hope they can get you back up and running soon. That's such a good looking Bronco.

Yah, I think as super disappointed. She spent a month in the shop. She is back and so far, so good! Been on a couple of adventures since.

I wonder if water got into the fuse box somehow and fried or hard shorted something out? Maybe ask them to see the old fuse box, see if there’s anything visible damaged on it? Something melted through somewhere? I hope that fixes your problem. That’s crazy.
@FiveAngelsOutdoor10 ай бұрын
Hard to say yet. Replaced the PCM, now the part on order. Was contacted by someone else that had a Bronco that had a very similar issue. Press start, nothing happens, but had power.

@@FiveAngelsOutdoor were they able to figure it out?

Still waiting on the junction box. Sure hope that solves it!
