Whats the benefit to using a sliding weight over a bobber doggin setup or inline weight?

@@OregonGrown1991 We use a slider for our bobber dogging rig as well. It helps the weight have less pressure on your line when the fish are thrashing at the surface. The weight can slide up and down your mainline instead of a fixed point. Fish seem to stay buttoned better.
