i have some great memories of me and my dad putting in below the dam and floating down to goldstar park. we would catfish and bass fish the whole 6 plus hrs, especially if they were on, and it wasnt very often we didnt smash them. wish my dad was still here, he loved that river. great video.

Not gonna lie I really prefer mono to braid throwing those little poppers.Dont pull as many hooks and don't seem to get the hooks tangled as much.Fun vid,beautiful body of water

Topwater is king. Although I've only been fishing for a few months now, I learned real quick. Lake Norman, walking a sexy shad and caught two on one lure while the dock owner was watching. It was insane. I love your channel man! Thanks for the killer content.

Live in VA but have a buddy that lives in AL, never knew how dirt a dirt road could be until visiting him. Dirt roads in VA at least have gravel but still love AL for the simplicity and floating rivers for big spots.

We do use Limestone occasionally, but more commonly, we use Crushed Concrete, or Soil Cement, usually mixed in, 12 to 14 inches...LOL! And screw that, because we need more damn dirt roads up in here...
