Hey Kinga. So glad you were able to experience the unique Newfoundland hospitality. Visitors are always treated like old friends/ family and you will have a friend for life. Although I am from Nova Scotia, I have spent a lot of time on “the rock” over the years and always enjoy returning. Great video Kinga. Cheers and ride safe, Dan. ✌️🏍🇨🇦

What a fun episode, Kinga. Glad you enjoyed Newfoundland - it’s such a great part of Canada to ride a bike in. Newfoundlanders are known across Canada for their friendliness and hospitality and I see you got to experience that first hand. Oh, and Keith’s pale ale from Halifax! Good choice!

@@onherbikeDid they not allow you on the ferry to St Pierre / Miquelon because you didn't have insurance or did you just opt not to go on your own? I'm having a heck of a time finding anyone that will insure a motorcycle. I found one company but they only sell to Americans not Canadians. I was considering risking it I can't find an insurance company. Most of my riding on Miquelon will be off-road and not covered by insurance regardless.

@@onherbike Hope you get a chance to. I was fortunate to be a photographer/videographer on the cruise ships, we used to stop at Sydney and Prince Edward Island. In the morning when we docked at Sydney I would do a photo shoot with the towncrier with the passengers and towards the end of the season took me on a road trip with his wife for lunch for a couple of hours. A couple of Newfoundland dogs greeted us at a port, they stole the show for sure. Take care, great seeing your videos on a cold day here in the UK.
