The 37D is at least 2+ times faster than the Wolf Ridge unit. You guys really set a record. You had ideal rounds to split; a great log loader; an outstanding bucking deck; the most productive splitter; the chainsaw was more than adequate.

please consider 3 observations about touching the log rounds and splits so much. first slope the cut log rounds feed table so they roll/self-feed to the splitter. second move and slope the grizzly bars back under the EM conveyer. and third increase the slope angle so they self-clean the split wood.

Hi Dan, that is such a pragmatic way to get max production without spending Mega $$ on a processor! Your buddy could upgrade a bit though by fixing a couple of rotary vibrating motors beneath the steel bucking table gutter! Set to rotate towards the splitter, controlled with a foot switch, they would easily shuffle rounds towards the splitter on demand. Len (Devon 🇬🇧)

Dan you finally got to see a real saw cut😂 a Husqvarna 592XP👍 I here you need to swap out the 7 pin stock sprocket to an 8 pin to stop it from bouncing off the rev limiter it has so much power. I need to try that on mine.

@Back40Firewood
@Back40Firewood 5 ай бұрын
Not sure, but if you were looking to have consistency in the size of your final splits you would need to re-split with any other wedge style. And the pull back arm of the box wedge is much faster than manually doing it so without the box wedge I think it would be a much slower process.
