There are two things consistent in life; taxes and the fact wood heat folks cannot get enough heat from their wood fuel without supplements of coal.

Been burning wood for 12 years and never had one clump of coal....and have gotten plenty of heat from it...lol

Missed again. Sadly I was digging a hole for my dog during the live. Another meth addiction driving around, just not caring. That's 2 dogs and 3 radiatiors stolen, in about a year. I'm not happy..

So how does that mulberry burn?
@Back40Firewood17 сағат бұрын
Not bad...it throws a few sparks so have to watch if burning in open fire, but inside the boiler it burns great!

My buddy's dad has one about 24 years old, the opening that you put wood into or the part the gasket seals against had been eroded by air. I was wondering what metal it is made of.

Anybody that has ever lived with any kind of wood stove knows she got to clean the flue pipe annually for the love of God read the installation and service manual for crap's sake

That mini splitter may work a little better if your wood was a little bit longer. you would get rid of some of that side to side movement that gets wood out of position.
@Back40Firewood4 сағат бұрын
I need to keep the length around 5 1/2" so it packs inside the boxes for shipping.

Man those boilers eat some wood. I couldn't imagine using 40+ splits per day. That becomes time consuming cutting and splitting that much wood for the season. I'm so glad I live in coal country.
@scottreynolds482721 сағат бұрын
The true wood guys claim it isn't work. You have to wonder what it is they smoke on a daily basis 🤔
@kmb95720 сағат бұрын
@scottreynolds4827 if it's not work, it's expensive. They are damn near feeding the boiler an entire tree or more per week.
@RandyMorris-v4h2 күн бұрын
I would collect all the off fallings and feed the boiler , catch it not pick it or box it just saying work smart er not harder
@charlesrobillard1902 күн бұрын
Drill holes in stump big enough for rock salt to fall into. Then put a layer of salt over the whole stump. Do this in the fall. Come back in the spring and break up stump with simple rake or the heal of your boot. Stump gone. Work smarter. Not harder. You’re welcome.

wait, since you have all of those, can you please let us know which one burns best/longest/etc?

That's not all that bad. You're covering everything with that. Maybe an underground tunnel would make it more comfortable to fill.

Hey Dan I’m curious. Are you happy with the machine? Does it produce quality wood for sale. Thank you. Craig Pa.

Lets hope Ireland (Woodhound Big Rodders his country) is not hit too hard by the storm Eowyn. The Guys over there are in shutdown and wind speeds will go up to 160 km/h (100 Miles) and potentially more near the coasts.

Interesting!….buddy of mine bought a big old farm house….I’m saying probably really close to 6000 sq’…he installed maybe the same manufacturer unit you have except the 2024 model….he has radiators throughout the house and keeps the water set to 180 degrees….is there a reason you only set to 170 degrees?

It’s interesting to see if different size rounds and different types of wood yield similar results in the Kindlet
@Back40Firewood2 күн бұрын
I think the big long chunks I made a few videos ago work the best. The round edges produce a lot of scraps and small splits.
