Russ is an absolute legend. Done heaps of fishing with him when we lived in the country together. He moved up there, I moved to the Sunny Coast. 2006 I spent 5 weeks with him up there. Either up the Endeavour in his Hornet or out on the reef chasing blacks from our 702 Haines Signature.

Yeah Russ is a bloody legend!! I went up to celebrate his 60th a few months back, and man did he put on a display of his generosity! It truly is gods country up there!!!

@ the creek on the right just before you head out of the system fishes really well and theres heaps of submerged boulders which hold good fish.

Just the old loop knot mate, I learned it off the back of a Rapala package back in the early 90s and I just put a few less twists in it with the heavier leader 🤷🏼‍♂️
