Epic fly rod 476 Fastglass Review (Hands-On, Tested, On a small stream in New Zealand)

The Epic 476 Fastg;ass from Swift Fly Fishing (Based in Wanaka, New Zealand) is a fibreglass rod designed for delicate presentation.
In this video, we tested it out in our of backcountry small stream and it worked fairly well.

I am glad you discussed "bend" with respect to full-flex, fiberglass fly rods. The image of the "C" shape used to maintain line tension is essential for landing hard fighting fish. Occasionally, I perform some "long distance" releases due to not maintaining proper line tension. Great video and discussion. Any tips or suggestions are appreciated. Sub'd.

Nice. I’ve always wondered about the Epic fly rods: are the blanks translucent / partially see-through or painted opaque with a high transparency varnish coating on top?
