EPIC Group Cross Country Flight - The Most Amazing Paramotor Ride You'll EVER Have

Time to get back to my roots and do some pure flying. No big advertisment here except a small blurb at the end for people who may want to enjoy this type of adventure.
A group of 8 pilots took part in this awesome flight. Most of them were guys I've trained in the last couple of years. We launchen just after an amazing sunrise over Central Florida. As always when you try to go cross country one of the pilots had a few failed launches. It happens to everyone and it's even been me before.
Once we were all airborne we headed West, exploring the countryside as we went. There was wildlife abound including deer, wild hogs, turkeys, and Sandhill cranes. We followed along the South boundry of the Horse Creek phospate mine and then skirted just north of The New Zion Baptidt Church near the site of the former Fort Myakka.
We slipped into Myakka Head Airport and skimmed the manicured grass runway. Some of the crew were low on fuel due to the delayed start. We improvised and siphoned some fuel from my Kraft Diamond trike to top them off.
The flight home was just as magical even though the thermals had started to kick off. The winds aloft forecast called for calm at 1500 feet and that turned out to be true.
It was one of those flights you never forget and I wish you all could have been there to share it. Hope you enjoy the video.

You've got to enjoy the cross country flights, especially with a great group to fly with. I need to get back out to Wauchula. I was actually flying a few miles south of Myakka head on Saturday, i should have headed your way.

NICE FLIGHT man! Thanks for sharing! I wish I could've hung around there an extra month an explored that place in every direction. I love taking flights like that! I've been flying the heck out of my machine this month. One time I did 1.3 hours on one flight - that's my new record. I put 5.9 hours on in one week alone! Another record! That was until my starter Bendix took a dump on me. I figured I could tear it apart and find a way to fix it, but they made this thing unserviceable. No backup recoil on my unit, if you remember. So pissed! Got a new one coming ($293 ... 😬), but it couldn't be any farther away and still be in the contiguous 48. Tracking info says next Monday. 😥 Naturally we're having the driest, most calm winds both morning and evening in HISTORY up here. Ahh, it's painful! I've got my takeoffs dialed in now - I figured out the bad habit I had developed long after I left there and corrected it, I'm happy to report! Flying twice a day got me right back in the swing of it. Hopefully FedEx puts the pedal to the metal here! 😊

Nice flight Rick! I have never seen a wing before that has two different independent break toggles on each side… Can you tell me more about that?

Thats tip steering. Makes the wing turn very easily with less drag than main brales.

Very nice may I ask what you used to mount your camera/selfie stick to reduce vibration. I am still trying to figure out the dip switches for best sound on my headsets as well because I get prop noise louder than my voice.
