Great interview and studio. So pleased that the owner was not carrying the compulsory cup of coffee during the tour. Original and fresh approach.

You've gotta get some of these drummers to play their full kits in these videos! Love hearing some of the intricacies, snare sounds in particular. I wanna know what a brick sounds like!

Went over on Jessy's channel and checked out that song referenced they recorded in that space. Just incredible recording and performance. We see home studios all the time, but rarely do we get to see a session done in that studio of that quality hearing how everything works.. Jeremy's awesome talent and Andrew's awesome content. Doesn't get much better IMO!

I like the fact that its just a big space with the engineering point in the middle of it all. This is basically what most people do due to lack of space. This is great idea and puts everything in one core. Its raw and ready and many musicians will find that appealing. When you are limited you find ways to squeeze out the best sound. I have similar but nowhere as big. The TASCAM 244 and the Roland space echo make me regret selling them 20 years ago.

Andrew, you've been indispensable with studio ideas. I'm building a 22x28 in my backyard. I'm an electrician by trade but needed a space where I could do my boom bap sp1200 stuff but also record bands and mix. I'm nearly ready to do the floor. I have 12000 records but also play drums. I was very concerned about room treatment and absorption but the homie, Ryan Kleeman, has me sold on diffusion to maintain the musicality of the room. Jeremy's studio looks great!

FYI, re “Maag” and “Moog”: I’ve met Mr. Maag, and it’s pronounced like “mahg”. Moog is pronounced like “mohg” (like with their synth the Moog Rogue, the two words rhyme!). ✨The More You Know ✨
