Hong Sukchun (or Tony Hong) is an actor/entertainer who came out in 2000 and, as the first openly gay celebrity in SK, was basically dropped from all the tv programs and ad deals he was part of and shunned by the public. During the several years it took for him to gradually come back into the mainstream media and finally be accepted/respected again he opened several successful restaurants. Now he's popular in both the entertainment and culinary world. He's super funny on variety shows! :)

So kind of Kwon Young Won to send you so many Korean noodles to try! Korean food is so wonderful, especially the noodle dishes. The carbonara noodles look spicy, but delicious. Oh my, I was addicted to jajangmyeon last year, but had to stop eating it so frequently for the sake of my waistline! Thanks so much for this fun video! I'm so sorry to hear that your mom isn’t feeling her best right now, but I'm thankful that you’re helping Niki take care of her for a bit. Sending your family lots of love, support, and positive thoughts.

Once again, nice shirt! I feel like noodles are a true comfort food. Here in Pennsylvania, USA, flat egg noodles with browned butter are eaten with a good hardy meal and are considered a comfort food. My Aunt used to make noodles with poppy seeds and butter on them. They were delicious! :)
@jackib53696 жыл бұрын
I'm from Pennsylvania and I had those two but my family is Italian and we made our egg noodle bowties with olive oil parsley and Parmesan
@elainecampbell80836 жыл бұрын
That makes sense since it's Italian. Molto Bene! Sounds yummy! The two noodle types that I mentioned are typical Pennsylvania Dutch dishes served in my area. They go right through the lips and straight to the hips. lol

Elaine, I can see why poppy seeds and butter would work on egg noodles. It's almost like having a NY poppy seed bagel with a smear of butter!

Carbonara is an Italian plate pretty famous all around the world, made with pasta noodles, pecorino, pepper, eggs and guanciale (pork cheeks): the name origin lands in the really old time, probably from an ancient recipe "Cacio & Ovo" (cheese and egg) made by carbonari (charcoal producer) and eaten in central Italy regions

Lauren D Neoguri is seafood flavored, jjawang is fermented blackbean sauce noodle. Koreans use jjajjaroni in combination with neoguri to make jjapaguri that became better known as ramdon thats to the parasite movie. But I like jjawang better cause the noodles are thicker and bouncier

Hell no! Mike Chen is absolute trash! He sucks so bad as a host he needs to make cuts in his vids literally after every sentence , many times even mid-sentence. That, to me, is the hallmark of a no talent ass clown (when all you can do is rely on editing and you can't even manage to express a complete thought in one take). It got so distracting I had to stop watching his channel. You can't even compare shinichi and Satoshi to that loser!

I think I would have like the ramen you both chose as your favorite. The little pink character cut-outs (I don't know the name of the character) just sealed the deal for me. SO STINKIN' CUTE! Hi guys! Just discovered your channel and I love all your videos. You should try the Korean Instant noodles in the packet, the ones you need to boil in a pot for like 3 min, not just the Korean instant cup noodles. You might be surprised by how different the noodles will taste from cup noodle version. My absolute favourites are Neoguri, Shin ramen and the Paldo Bibbim myun and oh the Chapaghetti one. Man, why am I so hungry now even though I ate dinner an hour ago! (Maybe because of watching you guys eating Korean cup noodles...?) I'm so honored that you guys reviewed ten Korean cup noodles, which are amazingly delicious. The moment when RtA appears is one of my favorite, though. 😊 Neoguri (NUH-goo-ri) means raccoon (technically a little different, though) in Korean language, which is why there's an adorable raccoon in the package. (Does Doraemon hate this ramen just because of raccoon? Just Kidding. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣)
