What is this add-on?
This add-on module will turn off your Kraken Tire Inflation System at the desired PSI - automatically. Use your phone to select the pressure setting. This carefree add-on will give you more time to stare into the rearview mirror and admire your own beautiful face.
So you’ve already released the EPIC Kraken Tire Inflation System upon your Jeep and thought the user experience couldn’t get any better? Well... you would be wrong.
We are thrilled to introduce the Kraken Pressure Control Upgrade Kit, allowing for automated inflation of all four tires to your desired tire pressure, with several other adjustable parameters and terrain presets configurable via an app on your smartphone. This means a faster, automatic and more accurate air-up experience at the end of a long day on the trail - now that’s seriously EPIC!
Our industry-best Kraken Tire Inflation System for the Jeep JL/JT required a reputable and comprehensive pressure monitoring and control solution to remain reliable and easy to use. Utilizing the the ARB LYNX Pressure Control System, we have created an integrated solution for your existing Kraken. Through a simple (free) app download, all features and settings are accessible on your iOS or Android smartphone.
Sold as a complete bundle, the Kraken Pressure Control Upgrade Kit includes everything required to upgrade your existing Kraken system (or new Kraken installation) with automated tire pressure regulation.
Upgrade Kit Contents:
ARB Pressure Control System; complete with solenoids, manifold, pressure sensor, control module, and wiring harness.
Custom EPIC Plug & Play Wiring Harness to power the ARB PCM from the ARB Twin Compressor.
All necessary fittings & pre-cut tubing to connect the ARB PCK manifold to your Kraken Air Compressor Assembly.
Cable ties to secure wiring.
Other Details:
Your smartphone is required for the initial setup of the system, whereas you set your desired tire pressure setting(s).
Your smartphone connects to the ARB module over bluetooth.
You do not need tire pressure monitoring sensors (TPMS) in your wheels to use this system.
Installation of the Kraken Pressure Control Upgrade Kit on both existing and new installations is very easy, with very basic hand-tools required to successfully complete installation. Please see the installation guide below to get an overview of what is involved.

@@EPIC-4WD I don’t know if I’m did something incorrectly my install of this unit but my passenger seat is now unable to move all the way back due to the module being in the way. Are you finding that this is the case as well?

Amazon reviews are that because of the redused size down to 1/8 inch it slows it down big time.

How long do you think it will take to air down from the street pressure to say maybe 10 pounds with this system. Or is it just easier to use some other way?

Hey Chris! The Kraken wasn't designed for deflating, only inflating. This new add-on could technically be used for deflating, but it would take forever. We always suggest using the Trailhead deflators (available on our website at epic-4wd.com) which can deflate tires quite fast. Cheers from the team at EPIC!

Hello my Canadian brothers. Getting ready to order a complete system for my wife’s JLUR 4XE. You mentioned alternator…here’s has an electric motor in its place. Will this system and ARB app (only while engine running), work with the 4XE? Thanks

I like the fact that it can deflate fires now, but I hate products that require a phone app. Apps become obsolete and stop working over time (next time Apple decides to update their OS and breaks old apps). I’d rather have a dedicated control interface connected to the Kraken.

Just tried to install it and it does not fit under the seat. The PCM is too tall and interferes with the seat slider bar. Ordering more airlines to re-route to a better position. 🤦‍♂️

Same here. Very disappointing. It’s bc of how the kraken plate is designed to fit. That’s why they skipped over detail install in the vehicle. All of the important parts of this system are from ARB though. They just put an Epic logo on it. For anyone having this issue, ARBs mounting plate fits properly and doesn’t block your seat. If you use the kraken plate with the ARB system, you’ll have to jerry rig the connectors so your passenger seat can slide properly 🤦‍♂️ save yourself the headache.
