so if its all still hooked up, unit turned off, cannot one simply hit the purge button to deflate ? the tire monitor system will display all four pressures. 🤷♂️

Not a new system. Innovativeatproduct has one for quite awhile now. It the same right down to the hose carry bag plus analog psi gauge and deflate/purge built in. As a matter of fact you can have preset deflate setting. Have it on my gladiator for a year now. This one is a little slicker with the no drill air valve mount.

I was thinking they also needed an analog pressure valve, I would also assume that just pressing the purge valve while hooked up would let you air down quickly, and all to the same PSI. Since it is all press to fit lines, I would imagine you could easily just add a valve to the line?
@jason.hartson2 жыл бұрын
That's a really well designed system and I like that the hoses aren't dragging on the ground while in use. Would love to see an option of a stand alone pressure gauge on the main control panel so tire pressure sensors aren't required.

As a semi truck , and heavy equipment mechanic. I use these fittings daily and replace them daily. Yes this system is totally serviceable, witch is nice. How ever. If your airing up all the time these fittings will wear and leak. The push to connects are not meant to be constantly undone all the time. If the hoses are not flush cut nicely and square they will leak. If they get pinched they will leak. If the get pulled on constantly they will leak. And if they constantly get hot , they will leak. Just my 2 cents. I like this idea and how clean it is. Don't even have a jeep. This was just a recommended video on my feed. I like your video editing layout and channel this far. New sub!

I've had my ARB twin compressor under my passenger seat since I got my JL Diesel 2 years ago. This seems to be the cleanest design set up yet, but it's not much different from what I've been running (I also use Speedflate). I recall you saying that you didn't like the under seat location for the compressor because your daughter didn't like the noise . . . I guess that's not an issue any longer.

Indeed. A lot has changed in 2 years and 99% of the time I use this Jeep on long trips to make videos riding solo.

I've been using the twin ARB under my passenger seat with the SpeedFlate for over a year. This system doesn't allow you to air down or see your current pressure. Even the TPMS sensors on the Jeep isn't real-time, so it's not totally accurate. Also, can't hookup an ARB line with accessories. Not having an air-down valve is a huge short-coming. I love being able to air down and have the exact pressure in every tire with SpeedFlate. I'm sure you could add this feature...really important!!!! Otherwise looks like a great build.

You guys should run something like a air lift up and down switch to make airing down just as easy from the inside. Also a small air tank would help take off some stress from the compressor and speed up air ups. As for your tailgate table I saw a trail recon video a few weeks ago where he showed the one he’s making it’s stainless with a pull out cutting board which would be pretty sweet.

It's easy to beat if you need to fill your tires and your tank is too low on CO2 to do it. Compressors never run out of air.
@markfellhauer352 Жыл бұрын
CO2 and rubber don't play well together. Permeability rate is about 5 or 6 times greater than air alone, and I'm fairly certain that CO2 permeating in rubber affects tire integrity and lifespan.

We prefer to seal them with butyl tape first then a clean layer of water proof or regular guerrilla tape, as for the factory slush mats, they don't keep water from coming into the vehicle if installed as designed so we trim those, and lastly the amount that is under the seats in different spots is unnoticeable to everyone that has tried it or currently has it in there vehicles.
