Spores debuff enemies in two ways: first, each Acid Spore attached to an enemy unit will increase the Cooldown of the enemy's weaponry by 1/8th of the original cooldown value. Spores will not prevent an enemy unit attacking; the slow effect is useful only up to the seventh spore. Carriers have no attack to be slowed, but their Interceptors do. Second, for each spore, a unit takes one extra damage per attack. A Hydralisk that would deal 10 damage instead deals 19 damage to an enemy with nine spores. In team games, Valkyries and Corsairs pair with Devourers to obliterate any air composition. Acid Spores reveal units that attempt to cloak, but won't splash to undetected units. Once detected (directly or via e.g. Plague), Spores will attach, and will reveal cloaking until they expire.

I like Terran but Zerg is slightly underpowered in SC1... Guardians should have 175 hp instead of 150, and devourers should cost less: 100 min 50 gas instead of 150 min 50 gas but have a bit less hp: like 225 hp instead of 250 hp. Also Valkyrie should have a bit more health, about 220 hp because it's expensive and costs 3 food

Zerg was over nerfed through the years. It used to be way stronger but they nerfed it because back in the day people hadn't figured out how to deal with it. Another huge mistake in patching was making the terran turret 75 minerals instead of 100.

@@rewind7900 but Turrets die fast and do little damage to mutas, only 10 dmg to small units. In SC2 turrets cost 100 but have more hp and do more damage

Devourers are more useful and cheaper in my opinion. I only make a few guardians to take down static defense and have a muta/Devourer/queen army protect the few

Great effort...but the zerg refused to get dark swarm and plague. He was basically playing intentionally on hard mode. Dark swarm wins games. Its the key to stopping terran!

@@karlhans6678 well zealot wanted to end it, much like previous game, but terran can box and persevere, even with huge scv loses. Mutas were alright, but after a vessel is out they lose the advantage. The reason why he lost is simply not making few lurkers for map control and taking every other base on the map. There is also attacking into terran-prepared battlefield, when he could have dropped the main and storm front. Zealots slow reaction time was the nail in the coffin.
