EPIC! Lufthansa A380 SHINE THE LIGHT & ATC SHOUT OUT!

May 25th, 2024: Lufthansa's Captain Markos, piloting the A380, gave LA Flights a memorable Shine The Light and epic ATC shout out. The Airbus A380 departed from RWY 25L and headed to Munich, DE.

It's just a small gesture, but it shows a lot of respect. One crew spends 10 or more hours in the plane, the other crew spends the same amount of time at the airport filming. What they all have in common is their enthusiasm for aviation.

This really was a Team LA Flights effort. Peter was up in Anchorage for the final day of delivering an amazing week of shows for viewers. And he gave us word of what was taking place down in LAX.
