this was the game that re-introduced Oswald to the modern public. back in 2010, the Disney park, California Adventure, had a promotional tie-in. for the longest time you could buy mickey ear caps with Oswald ears instead of mickey ears. I don't think they sell the caps anymore, but you can definitely buy a headband with oswald ears still. Going to disneyland on the 25th so I will update my comment; UPDATE Oswald Caps are still being sold. Lots more oswald merch now, plushies, figures, magnets. Oswald is still going strong.

When it was released, it was the only year I had an annual pass to Disenyland. The promotional was everywhere. It indeed made me so hype.

you're in luck, they do still sell the oswald ear cap in the parks! the epic mickey tie-in cap did have a unique blue patch on the front, but the ones now have a red patch. they're sold at oswald's service station in california adventure. i don't live anywhere near cali, but with some crazy luck, i got a pair at a local thrift store. tokyo disneyland sells the oswald headband as well, unsure if it's sold in america, but i ordered them online because i love oswald that much. have an awesome time at the park!!

Oh they sell all kinds of Oswald merch still, last year for the 100th anniversary they had this adorable headbands with Oswald ears and plushies, mugs, pins and all the stuff, I got myself a plushie of him

I remember when this game initially came out on Wii to only average reviews. A lot of hardcore gamers seemed to scoff at it, thinking it would be more in line with Spector's previous work like Des Ex. I absolutely loved it then and still do. It fills my old heart with joy to see such a welcome response to the remaster like this. After all these years, it looks like this little third party game with a big ol' IP found its audience after all.

this game made me into who i am today, a disney fan with a love for the company's forgotten and rejected concepts. oswald the lucky rabbit is my favorite disney character of all time thanks to this game introducing him to the masses, and it makes me so happy that he can be re-introduced to a newer generation! i always thought i was pretty alone in my love for this game, but the internet's reaction to this news proved me wrong! i'm so excited to play epic mickey again, with a fresh coat of paint and thinner
