My wealthy American aunt & uncle had decorated my cousins bedroom around a white Baby Grand. I'd never seen anything like this room. My cousin was a sweet girl and her interests took her to Botany and she had very little interest in anything posh. She just retired after a long fulfilling career as a botanist! Go after your heart & heads desire! I'm watching your new vids. and old over the holidays! 🤗 Peace.

Hi George! I just want to express my appreciation for the smoothness and low speed of panning the camera. I love this style of video but so many people move around too fast and/or spin around and I have to quit a couple of minutes in because I get motion sickness watching on my TV. So I thank you! CLL is good about it too, though I typically can't watch the flea market ones. You have so much knowledge about so many things, your experience shows!

Hi, just a FYI. The driftwood wasn't driftwood. It looked like either a limestone stalactite or a stalagmite with branches containing vugs or small cavities filled with small crystals if anything. The limestone could have coated a branch, similar to the petrification of trees in our West. Easy to make the mistake. In many countries collecting these from limestone caves has become illegal because it takes millions of years to create one the size that was in the armoire. Limestone droplets fall, leaving a minuscule layer of limestone on the top (stalactite: it must hold on tight) and creating the limestone stalagmites (you might trip over it). Someone filled the little vugs with large crystal formations for effect, making the piece more interesting. The original crystals would probably be tiny, druzy inclusions. Thanks for reading. I love your channel.

I recently toured a decked out vintage house (it’s a tourist destination in my area) and learned that wardrobes became popular, at least around me, because houses were taxed per room number and closets counted as rooms. If you had a wardrobe instead of a closet, well you wouldn’t be taxed as much! 😁

The carved walnut head was absolutely beautiful! Do you happen to remember the price? The folding brass topped table I have always referred to as a Damascus table, not sure if that term is right or not. Love the French armoire being converted to a display cabinet. The bronze of the hammer thrower!! Very much to my taste. I imagine that would have been pricey! The brass display cabinet is very much my taste too. The painting of the handsome young man by a Canadian artist again, very much to my taste. Your booth looks incredible! Sorry this comment is so long! So much wonderful stuff!

Lol! Yes you're right, I was a guest at his mansion in the Grotto area once, and I remained standing at all times

I have a woman’s head shelf like the one that you just showed but you said it was from the 1800s. It has been on my wall for several years. I really like her but don’t know anything about her. Do you know anything else about them?

Very cool. Im surprised they allow dogs. Might want to make sure your dog has gone potty. Lol. Or have a healthy credit card.

Yes, it's a strange phenomenon but in the antique business, most stores are dog-friendly. There's a boxer who comes to work with the showroom owner every day

George, you're the best! I've Subscribed and Like ALL your uploads on both of your channels. I sold on Ebay for about 20 years before getting sick of the rules and cost, but I'm using you as my inspiration for my huge Yard and Porch sale pricing.
