Oh wow! My grandaughter and her boyfriend just got back from that island. They loved everything about it except for the lunches provided by their cheapish hotel. I’ll suggest Air B&B to her for next time. Just been watching another lovely couple driving to Lapland and now the temp is high where you are. What a beautiful and varied planet we live on ✨🫶🏻✨

As with previous ‘Haze and Fern’ pieces this is utterly joyous! Even if you edited out the bits that weren’t on day one! That final descent made my knees hurt and I was only sat on my sofa watching! Love it, the Canaries are such a gem! Been ticking off the GR131 myself (vids on my channel). Also brought the other half to La Gomera but she stayed by the pool in San Sebastien while I slogged across the island in the heat! Such a tough hike, well done to you both

We done the hike last year in November. It was boiling we catched a unusual heatwave 😂 we coldsoaked the entire trip but you can buy gas in hardware stores in Tenerife too 😊

Enjoyed this. Many moons agp I climbed El Tide and got altitude sickness. One of the most unpleasant experiences I've had. I take it La Gomera is a bit lower.

Great video. Not that you needed it, but a MSR Whisperliite International is your friend. A little heavy but it can burn many fuels, including petrol.
