I LOVE all of your videos!! Every time I watched a KZbinr vacation to Japan, they always rave about the food in 7-11 or Family Mart. It made me wonder how much the food was, how it looks up close, and how it possibly tastes like. Your videos have helped my curiosity a lot, so thank you!! 🙂

Thanks, guys. I lived in Japan for two years and I loved 7-11 onigiri. I don't know why they don't bring these to the U.S. I would have one a day if I could.

That's really cool how they show you the EXACT price of the item when tax is added on. So helpful. I wish stored in the US would do that. I miss Japan.

I am amazed at the great value japanese convenience stores offer. Such amazing food for such a cheap price. Over here (New Zealand) Onigiri is only sold at japanese resturants and you are looking at $6 a pop (around $4USD). Thx again for the great review.
@axislexington80428 жыл бұрын
LZP Yagi it's their local food of course it's cheap. niche stores tends to be more expensive since there aren't much competition, so is the material sourcing too
@LazerPonyGG8 жыл бұрын
Definitely, I understand the reasons for the price differences but its nonetheless amazing.

In NZ, St. Pierre's and Maki have giant "almost-onigiri" rice balls with tuna mayo or chicken fillings! If you take them home you can put nori on them and pretend you have authentic onigiri :)

I have no idea how you ate (or even partially ate) 20 onigiri! That's amazing! I can only eat one onigiri, and then I'm full. If I could try only one, I think I'd like to try the maitake, but I have to confess they all look delicious! Yes, please do another video from the conbini stores. I'll watch anything! It's been so fun seeing what you are able to find. Colder weather is coming, too...they offer oden and warm foods for take-out, don't they? It might be fun to show what hot foods are available to customers for winter. Absolutely, yes it would be great to see the desserts and breads, too. I hope your walk helped! Thanks for the video.
