Playing D&D, I always switch my battle music to this when the big boss gets to about 20% HP with the line “you feel the tide of the battle starting to turn in your favour”. Gives the players such a massive second wind gives them a genuine thrill 😅

"Orchestral" aka "Sampled" lol

You know if I had the money to pay a professional orchestra to record this, that would be fantastic. You'll have to settle for samples in the meantime.

Lol I'm just being a dick and I understand completely great work!
@CCMthemusicman8 жыл бұрын
Ah well thanks! I really do wish I had an actual recording of this though. I haven't really written any music like this in a few years because working with samples is such a hassle >

You have to buy very, very expensive sample libraries
@CCMthemusicman8 жыл бұрын
I think I used the EastWest Platinum Symphonic libraries and wrote it in Logic. I forget exactly what they were called, but it came in a Complete Composer's Collection bundle with a bunch of other libraries. The bundle itself was pretty pricey, but each library was on the cheaper side. This probably sounds ok because there aren't any solo voices, but if you isolate the instruments, they aren't that great. I wish I could afford the high end libraries, but now I pretty much just write concert music so it all ends up getting performed by live players anyway. And thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I've got loads more stuff on my soundcloud if you're ever interested in checking it out: soundcloud.com/caseymartin-1
