Carrizo Plains Ntl Monument. Just to the north. Great country down there, we go down from south Santa Cruz county every year in spring to explore/camp. Quatal Canyon/Frazier Park area.

I heard about the flowers in spring over there! Ya we will have to check that out!

@@wjoverland5109 Not just the flowers. So many dirt roads/trails. Its season Friendly. You do not want to go there in late July. It's slippery, vehicle eating clay when it is wet. Hell on earth when its dry.

The flowers are a bonus. Not every year. The Superbloom. Carrizo is 60 miles long. The San Andreas Fault runs right up through the middle of it. Two primative, 1st come, first serve campgrounds. The rest is dispersed, self contained. Dirt roads going everywhere. Stay on them. The plain is leased to cattle in large stretches. Thousands of acres of solar panels to the north.

Great content man. Frazier has the most beautiful back country.. I may be bias because I have had the privilege of living here for my entire life. It nice to see folks enjoying our little secret up here. West Frazier has awsome views also.

How does your guys WJs drive in the high way? I have a 6.5” rock link pro kit from IRO, 1-ton IRO steering kit and it wanders a lot on the highway. Any similar circumstances you guys experienced?
@wjoverland5109Күн бұрын
I just have iron rock short arm front and back with a 4 inch lift with 33s and she’s pretty good on the highway, i I’ve also got the thick Addco rear sway bar That helps but I’m just about to go long travel in the front should be here tomorrow.
@matthew7972Күн бұрын
@ yea I have long travel front and rear. Also have the upgraded head duty addco rear sway bar. Maybe some bushing I need to replace I guess
@wjoverland5109Күн бұрын
Ya are they nicer joints or the rubber style?
@matthew7972Күн бұрын
@ I’ll replace the upper front axle bushing that I bought from IRO that I’ll try out. They have the upgraded flex joint bushing as well but I don’t think it’s needed since i actually wanna drive this on the road for trips.
@wjoverland5109Күн бұрын
Ya the better bushings are much nicer but if you’re not off roading much than ya probably don’t need. Anyway there is a bit of sway but honestly it’s really not bad! Good luck man!
