Vitória Sousa That was all part of the joke, though. At the time, there was this weird conspiracy theory that Lady Gaga was a man. So having Nice Peter play her in the battle was a nod to that. The lyrics also referenced that theory several times. Happily, that particular “rumor” about Lady Gaga seems to have died out. I loved seeing that little explanation of Shakespeare/Poe's lyric breakdown. I knew that Shakespeare's was written in iambic pentameter but I was not aware of Poe's writing choice! Knowing that makes his lyrics all the more impressive! As someone who isn't a poetry nerd and misses those kind of things but really appreciates it once I realize it, I'd love to see more "breakdowns" if you do other sorts of things with lyrics like that in the future! (or other past battles with other unique moments like that)
