Ching Shih (1775-1844), also known as Cheng I Sao, was a former pirate who once terrorized the China Seas in the early 19th century. She commanded over 300 ships manned by 20,000 to 40,000 pirates. She is widely considered to be the most successful pirate in history, based on the fact that she commanded the largest crew ever assembled, and that she died in her own bed as a free woman. based on this i conclude that Ching Shih (aka probably the most underrated badass in all of history) is definitely worthy for an ERB. i suggest either Mary I, Isabelle I, Elizabeth Bathory or Mulan as her opponent.

@@akshaymonick5808 if one actually reads wealth of nations, the line blurs, he didn't even believe in what conservatives call "the invisible hand", it was only supposed to apply to England's ports. His ideas on welfare would make modern "capitalist" sympathizer heads explode. I feel like Smith would side more with Marx than what modern day conservatives have done with his work. There was a reason he tried to burn his works before he died

@@Gaiafreak6969 it's heartbreaking how smith scream "I WAS WRONG!" before his death and how you see your life's work turned to modern day servitudes like kingdom's way but this time, it's the capitalist that do what the monarchy done. I would think even Marx and Engles would screamed too if they saw how communism and socialism turned out.

HERESY! Stein, a hack and thief of an author (some books are rewrites, retakes on other popular books on the genre, like one from Stephen King - he redid, part of the series of books) - anyway, he doesn't even deserve to be in the same breath of an actual great author like Lewis.

I loved seeing that little explanation of Shakespeare/Poe's lyric breakdown. I knew that Shakespeare's was written in iambic pentameter but I was not aware of Poe's writing choice! Knowing that makes his lyrics all the more impressive! As someone who isn't a poetry nerd and misses those kind of things but really appreciates it once I realize it, I'd love to see more "breakdowns" if you do other sorts of things with lyrics like that in the future! (or other past battles with other unique moments like that)
